I agree with your parenting style. Being friends with my parents has completely changed the trajectory of my life. I appreciate that you don't tolerate family members making negative comments to your kids, such as remarks about weight gain. That kind of behavior can definitely create trauma.

I love how you spoke up about letting your children dress how THEY want to dress! I’m the same way. It actually teaches them how to be secure and confident in themselves. I always tell my kids that I don’t want them to be walking around looking like robots and trying to look like everyone else or fit in some box. That box is already overcrowded 🤣

My husband is the one that usually goes to the most events for the children including the ones that aren’t his biological children. Just like your husband, his schedule is most flexible. He will record and we all go and celebrate later. I don’t even care what folks say about my parenting, because I do so much for my children. Then I work full-time, go to school full-time, run a small business, cook, clean and some more. I use to beat myself up thinking I am not doing enough, but when my kids come and hug me and thank me for all that I’m doing, it trumps them folks being busy body in my family affairs. You’re doing an awesome job!

Omg closing in a month Congrats to you and your family and I know yall are so excited I can't wait to see the new house and all of the content that you're going to bring with turning your house into a home. I'm so happy for ya'll. And girl I'm the same way with my job and my Hubby is the one that gets to go more than me because of his schedule. I've often felt guilty of always having to work but that's life keep doing what you're doing it's ok. And my kiddos telling me they love me and giving me hugs is enough and that's all that matters.

Oh my gosh Brittany!!!!! This vlog made me love you 100x more! It is so true about letting kids express themselves! I had to learn that since I grew up in the age of wearing Jordan’s and the “latest and greatest”….people will judge you to a teee….I’m so glad you spoke on that, that sit down alone let me know you are being a great mom to all of your kids! I agree with your stance on parenting and being a friend. I think people forget the true definition of “friend”. And it’s like, why wouldn’t I want to be that for my daughter?? That’s unhealed trauma in our community. Breaking generational curses✨

First congratulations!!! Second, get it! I have an older daughter and she doesn’t like the camera. I respect her privacy. My 3 year old loves the camera and is attached to my hip. And as a mother sometimes I don’t wanna go!!! I don’t have to be at every game lol. Her dad can go this time. I’ll see y’all next time 🤣

Congratulations girlie, I am so proud of you hon. I agree with the parenting tips. I have 2 children and honestly my last child is 4 and he is always with me. He still breastfeed and everything.....lol. However, I love both my kids and I am my kid's parent and friend.
