Can you make more videos of you guys just cutting the lawn with the sounds of the machines? My 2 year old is OBSESSED with watch and listening to them🤣
I'm not sure what it is about these mowing videos I find so addicting but it relaxes me. You seem to be taking great pride in the work and service you provide so that makes it all the more enjoyable to watch. Shit I've mowed my own lawn for 40 years but if you was in my area I'd have you do it. ;-)
Love watching you guys work and grow! I'm also a high schooler in the lawn care business but not nearly at the scale that you are lol. Keep up the good work and more vlogs pls!
Been in the Biz 30 yrs.. 1) I would Never cut this lawn Wet. .waste of time 2) the Trimmer guy better be wearing Safety Glasses...been drilled tons of times, and thankful I had mine on...good luck
From one care company to another you guys do good job and looks like you got a good crew, I would get yourself a couple shoot blockers and stay off the driveways when stripping it’s really hard getting the marks off especially when grass is wet keep up the good work keep, growing
Totally agree with this comment. Shoot blockers are also great for not shooting lawn clippings in your customers mulch and flower beds. Some people can be very picky about it. otherwise Great Job!
As a lawn maintenance division foreman of 10 years, one thing I noticed that he did right when he started cutting, you don’t wanna start the PTO when the mower is all the way revved up, you wanna start and disengage the blades around 50% throttle. When starting it, leave throttle at 50%, turn on the blades, then slowly increase throttle till it’s at max. When disengaging the blades, slowly lower the throttle to 50% allow the blades to so down then shut them off completely. You’re doing a lot more wear and tear on the PTO if you are starting and stopping the blades at 100% throttle.
I would suggest checking up under the bed of the truck because those years of fords are famous for having serious rust issues. Great job and keep up the great work 👍
Good job guys. Been landscaping last 10 years and a couple things I want to point out. 1. Everybody should have pants, boots, ear and eye protection. It’s really important. I’ve been hit the face countless times but having the correct ppe goes a long way. 2. Let’s try to keep grass out of mulch beds. Consider your pattern, how you’re bordering the property, how to correctly mow around trees, etc. it will end up saving you a lot of time not having to blow that stuff out. 3. Somewhat related to point 2, but when mowing wet grass you should try to keep the grass off the driveway ways. Often times, especially concrete, wet grass is gonna leave a greenish stain. It goes away after a little while, but just add value to your work. The small stuff really goes a long way. 4. Engaging the pto at max throttle is really tough on your belts. Whenever you’re going to engage or disengage the pto bring the throttle down to idle. It’s takes no times, it’s saves thr equipment therefore saving you time and money. 5. Kinda related to my second and third point, but try not to turn with the discharge facing the house. There might be sticks, stones, balls, whatever and thats an easy way to break a window or fuck up some siding. 6. I’d would highly recommend investing in a chute system. You’ll keep grass out of beds, keep you pattern without unnecessary turns or lines, makes the job easier, it’s worth it. 7. Finally point, blow off the equipment before going to the next job. I know it seems small and it might be wet grass, and sometimes it isn’t. I’ve seen mowers catch on fire and burn down a trailer with other equipment because guys aren’t blowing off especially in the fall, but certainly as temperatures get warmer. Blowing off your equipment makes it look better, run better, and it just something that should be second nature. You’re gonna the blow off the hard surfaces etc. regardless so you may as well take the 30-45 seconds to blow off equipment. Just a couple points but it looks good and keep it up man
Dang, all those lawns in that short a period of time, you're crushing it for sure. Some of those lawn aren't that small. I wish I could cut my lawn that early, but if I did, I'd get clumps in the yard, and I hate that look. Hope things are working out for you. The guys you have working with you seem to be hard working guys, they do a nice job. You're fortunate to have people who actually want to work and do it well.
This is going good so far and I think I will be getting a new job soon as well for the next week and I have to work on my own business and how much money will I have a good time in a business trip that you can give you the most important things to learn from this experience
Love the video! Speaking with experience though, try to keep the clippings out of the beds. I have chutes tied up with rope that I can lower when needed. Customers will appreciate it. They probably don't care too much about the clippings, but when they don't see the clippings in their mulch, they'll love it!
Dayym looking good, almost nothing cuts like an exmark I would agree, what decks are those machines? Stander like a 48” or 52” ish and the laser is like a 60” I’m guessing
just found your channel from RU-vid recommendations. I enjoyed your video a lot. I was wondering what the history of your company is. Like when you started it and how you got going. What other services does your company offer? Thank you!
It would look cool if all team members were wearing approximately the same thing....cargo shorts (khaki or gray) with logo shirts...looks good if Team LCK has "the look". This was a good show... the thick mid-summer grass stripes up nice!
Hey man exmark is coming out with a new exmark vertex x - series next year and redmax is coming out with a new redmax ebz 9500 backpack blower next year
hey man I really like the vids and I am wanting to start mowing grass for others too, I want to get my zero turn on a trailer and hook it up to my quad, do you have any tips for pricing and schedueling?
Just curious do you guys wear safety glasses? You should. Only takes one thing one time to mess up an eye. My buddy was hedge trimming and a woody piece of branch hit him in the eye and now he sees spots. Count less times ive had stuff hit me in glasses when mowing and trimming. And lets not forgot all the finer dust and debris. Dont mean to preach at u just want u guys to stay safe
Hey man I’m 15 years old trying to get into lawnmowering for a summer and bit of during school side hustle to make some eazy money would there be any advice that you can give me along the way
