Got my moza r3 in june. Soo much fun with it so far. Im new to the dd wheels as i came from g920. Love it so far still working on the settings in the app. Its alot to do
Always good to hear which is the ‘BEST DD’ among the different price tiers. We are still trying to decide which base would fit our needs better. I have started to lean hard into the mindset of Buy Once, Cry Once as it seems that getting a lower priced pieced of hardware as stop gap mans that in the end everything is rebought. So IDK at this point. I found what would have been right fit but at the time did not know what kind of real bargain it was and it is no longer available. Go figure. That would be your recommendation for a mid upper tier DD setup? Thanks.

Moza is pretty good with the R12, R16 or R21 and has a well complete ecosystem around it. Other endgame setups are simucube, simagic and asetek. And of course you can add other high end steering wheels like gsi or ascher racing etc to these bases. Imo 10-15nm base is enough for most people and a good starting point to narrow down choices.
REally good mid-level setups here. Looks like Fanatec makes a better product when put head to head against the Moza R3, but the Fanatec company uncertainties make it more risky to invest in. 👍👍🤩🤩 best DD
@@BrunoVentura524 It kind of is though. I'm on the Fanatec site right now, the bundle is one of the main header items it shows if you go back and forth with the arrows. It shows it being $199 when you buy it with any wheel + pedals.

Why didn't you get the Fanatec CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC? This was the video I was looking for 2 months ago! Then Fanatec didn't have Xbox compatibles in stock. So I ended up getting the Moza R3. No regrets has worked out great. I bought the brake kit, Clutch pedal and 12" wheel mod. Moza offers a points system. So the better steering wheel only costs me $48 and well worth it.
...or the R9 for anothet xy$ or the R12 for just another bit more... 😊 this is the predicament here, if you end up really liking sim racing you will buy the next better intil the point you really are optimal performancewise. Somebody here wrote tjat they embrace the 'buy once, cry once' mindset because in the long run it will be cheaper. So if you are sure about SimRacing, go for the R9 or R12 thos is what most people consider the nm sweetspot. If you just wanna try it out go with what your budget/circumstance is sensible. E.g. if racing on a deskchair and desk, 3 to max 5nm is most feasible without ripping your desk up.
Especially when the supposed acquiring company seems to be following the same fate as endor ag. Check out the 6m and ytd stock price of corsair gaming 📉
true. I was going to get the CSL DD, but honestly seeing how they're handling everything, I've lost hope and will probably get the Moza. The only problem is I'm going to be upgrading from a G923, which I think has 2.9Nm of torque, so not really upgrading the FF...
@@MaxMonstaaa that’s exactly what I’m upgrading from. I say 100% do it. The torque spec difference might not seem like a lot. However, going from a tooth driven wheel to a direct drive wheel makes all the difference. Just my 2 cents
Just got my R5 about 2 weeks ago. I love it as my first wheel. You NEED a mod kit for the break but everything else is great. I also highly recommend the ES Formula Wheel Mod for anyone looking to get a bit more out of it.
@@gogoxd2010 i have a CSL dd, took over a month to arrive because fanatec is having major issues, customer service takes weeks to respond fanatec literally filed for bankruptcy. Also my pedals ended up breaking even though everything was connected and maintained well
Sorry but I am new to sim racing. So new I have been looking to buy my first bundle. And if you are looking for something for xbox. Just forget fanatec. Things not in stock. People waiting forever for products. And crap customer service. Higher prices. And a crap site... most the time I went on it it was in euros.. and when it did go to dollars you cant tell most of the time if its canadian or us dollar That's what I seen. Seem like fanatec is what you wanted before. But now with other companies getting into sim racing I see fanatec losing more and more market share.
Yup and like what the guy said above, also add on triple monitors and a VR so you can switch between both as you want. Don't forget the full motion rig as well. You also want new PC to go with all of that so get the latest specs you can find. Don't skimp out on the shifter and handbrake too, get the most expensive highest tier one you can find.
@@GeekStreet May I ask some related advice? is Cammus actually a good idea for diving right in to “lite” simracing? I just want to feel competitive online. Saw the Turtle Beach wheel on Amazon on sale and ordered it impulsively, then read reviews and cancelled. I want good fb. But I don’t have frame rig, lots of money, or space. So C5 and Moza R3 small size is appealing, just worried about reliability.
