@@dandouglas6769 The dollar was at 118 during during Uhuru. Today under our Jehovah witness government, it's going at 140 . By the next 2 years, it will be sh 400 to a dollar
He has successfully managed to avoid answering the question Yes its a atrue that uda said that Russia/ Ukraine wars has nothing to do eith fuel and food inflammations
Yeah when former president said it that the war between Russia and Ukraine had resulted in high cost of fuel, gas and hence affected other commodities, Ruto termed it as "a lost course" just in a broad daylight and on top of a car.. These folks are pathological liers..
He has cleverly maneuvered the question. yes, Ruto said Ukraine/Russia war had nothing to do with kenyas food situation, but Nyoro cleverly insinuated that yes the Ukrain/russia war had an effect but the Uhuru govt approach to it was wrong. instead of subsidizing production i.e. farmers with fertilizers and other inputs Uhuru subsidized the consumer us who consume ugali by reducing the price of Ugali with govt subsidy instead of that money going to farmers to produce more and negate any shortages brought about the the Ukraine/russia war. Basically, saying Uhuru govt made the situation worse by subsidizing consumers instead of farmers.
A government of liers! Nyoro doesn't even understand the difference between short-term, medium term and long-term economic planning and interventions. Yet he is supposed to influence economic policy. When Azimio calls for subsidy and lowering cost of living, that's short-term policy intervention. How do you expect the citizens to survive to see tomorrow when you are starving and maiming them today. Even the Bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow, today has enough problems of its own! May God Help Kenya. President Kago press
Handshake was used to paint uhuru and Raila as bad people for their own political mileage now that they are in government the story has changed it’s no longer handshake but Ukraine and Russian war
it's projected 100k jobs will be lost due to employers unable to pay the employee marching fund, this will result in employers laying off their workers to avoid paying the marching fund The figure could be more than 100k considering these factors. Already the cost of doing business in Kenya is high. The effects of an employer having to spend an extra cost i.e. marching fund for every employee has the following effect. 1. employers who wanted to hire workers will not because of the extra cost of hiring another worker thus they will go on a hiring freeze. 2. There are companies locally and internationally who may have wanted to start a business in Kenya today, tomorrow or later date and have decided not to due to the extra cost. 3. Some businesses may decide to relocate their business to another country due to the extra cost. 4. The backbone of manufacturing in Kenya is small and medium enterprises. how many SME; s in Kenya today can really afford another extra cost when the cost of business in Kenya doing is already high. So, what will they do, lay off, close shop, no prospects of expanding and hiring new workers. This will be the case the with all businesses forced to pay the marching fund including salary; accompanied by hiring freezes, loss of current and future job prospects. Why not let employers get a tax break equivalent to that they are be made to march for employees. There is got to be a middle ground on this issue. The govt says that these 100k jobs will be replaced with housing jobs multiple of times. This is not the way to look at it. Why would we want to even lose one job. Rob peter to pay Paul. Not everyone will work in the construction industry and not everyone has the skills to. Many have skills in other areas thus we lose these skills sets. The govt needs to let companies deduct taxes equivalent to the amount of the marching fund. This way the employer is cushioned from any extra costs affecting their bottom line and have no effect on job losses. The govt can always recover the money back even tenfold as the thousands who would have been laid off plus prospective jobs created will pay taxes plus millions of tax payers added from housing constructing houses who also become tax payers. But it makes no sense saying lets lose these thousands of jobs now to get more jobs in construction. It is astounding that the business community lobby groups are silent on this and have not even proposed the effects of the marching funds on their bottom lines and unintended consequences.
@@alexandermutune6131you are very wrong, good leadership is trying to come up solutions not lying and being ignorant of what the common man is going through
U + Russia war you said its because of handshake. Electricity is going up after you became top shareholder .why don't you give importers of fertiliser subsidy coz we don't get it
Fertilizer is another bombshell. They like hiding behind it as if we eat it. U can't solve fuel issue using fertilizer. That's misapplication of tools. Which economics is that surely. ?
Deal with misplaced priorities. UDA has prioritized housing over food production. First feed the people and then build them houses. When are we going to do away with food insecurity? But i know most of this politicians are the cartels on food imports so they won't adress this and i don't even feel sad for Kenyans who are voting them each and every time. You harvest what you sow
I never liked Nyoro’s loud mouth during campaigns. And my position has not changed. He is a shameless liar who painted Uhuru as the greatest enemy of Kenya. This journalist did a starring job pinning him down.
Why not address what happened to the wheat supply that was booming in the 70's-2000? Do we have to always look outward for our supply? Did not the import of commodities and goods make it quite difficult for farmers and producers who had to try and compete with the imports that were later sold for cheaper prices?
si last year during campaigns mlisema global issues like the russsia-ukraine war have no effect on the kenyan economy at all?????? Kenyans tunabebangwa wana sana
Your Zakayo' accused President Uhuru when he claimed war in Ukraine and Russia was causing inflation and said Uhuru is lying.. and he promised that if he came to office all will automatically get well
Yes Unga was 230 now is 150 still under Russian- Ukraine war ......and we have hope coz KK government has put Money on subsidies production not consumer
I marshalled many voters to vote for this monster called UDA, I wish former president Uhuru muigai kenyatta well In his retirement, in fact He was a truthful MAN. God bless our former president. I am very sorry I didn't hear ur advice.
What does the Russia-Ukraine war have to with us Africans and Kenyans as a country? Chemichemi za uongo tu! Truth is, the world depends on the resources of Africa meaning that Africa has what it takes to be self-sufficient in everything without disturbances / worrying about others countries.
So if the wat never ends in Russia and Ukraine we'll suffer the rest of our lives just seal the loopholes in kra and kebs and see how much money is lost
