@MikePTT I don't think so.. 🤔 don't most stem software only do 4 layers? Not sure the tech is that good. I think that the stem technology is working with filters and there's only so much you can do when your working with frequency ranges and multiple instruments are sitting in that same range. But honestly that's my guess how the stem software works I really don't know.

This enables them to separate specific elements like vocals, drums, bass, piano, and guitars, rather than just the traditional four layers. Several stem separation tools already exceed the standard four layers. For example, iZotope RX, Spleeter, and others can accurately separate multiple instruments. iZotope RX combines spectral processing with machine learning to isolate a wide range of stems. With ongoing advancements in AI and machine learning, we're likely to see even more sophisticated tools capable of handling increasingly complex separations with less effort as these technologies continue to improve. So I wouldn’t be surprised if these machines can split additional layers in the near future.
