So true very well said Malo is dope teacher I'm very new to MPC one and it's workflow no background to production or music theory and he's made it veryyyyy achievable I'm grateful 🙏🏽 to found him as well 🙏🏽
I'm new to MPC world and all videos I have been watching from you are always so helpful. I have been watching a lot of different videos from many different guys, everybody give their best but you have the best one. You go to the point, you don't mess around too much, it's clear and neat and I am extremely thankful for that :)

Hey Shayla, oh that’s awesome I’m excited for you. I have a few sampling videos that could be helpful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F-D0b5dPz04.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-73jpxXK67JM.html
Hey Joaquin, I’m so excited for you. I really was tempted on getting the retro one but I already had purchased the Mpc One in black. I’m sure you’re going to love it.
Hey man i just wanted to say that i really enjoy your videos , the quality of your videos are amazing and i really hope you blow up or atleast get the views and subscriber numbers you deserve. much love
Hey brother, you have no idea how much this means to me. I highly appreciate you taking your time to share this with me blessings to you and all that you do. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
nice video! im actually saving some money to buy myself an mpc one. Im always making beats and sounds in my head when i listen to my music and i cant wait till i have an instrument that lets me express that. Your videos inspire me to pursue some beat making. keep it up!
Hey Pacheco, reading this comment means the world to me you have no idea. One of my goals is to be able to inspire 1 or 2 people so I’m extremely humbled by this message. Oh and trust me I’m sure you would be banging out fire once you get your hands on a drum machine.
Dope videos man love the constant uploads. I’ve had my live Mk1 a few years and it’s always dope to see everyone’s workflow. I appreciate the performance piece at the end.
Seriously! Sundays was like toruture to my ears when my moms would blast jazz records when I was little. When I got older in the late 80s into the 90s, she'd blast "smooth" jazz station CD101.9. That music was worse than the old stuff in the 70s.
Not sure if you knew but when you’re slicing with the pads when you’ve filled the pad bank an it goes on to the next bank you can just keep hitting the last pad an it assigns each slice on to the pads for you
@@malobeats Mario, quick question: Did those kick drums in this track come with the MPC One, or did you layer them with other kick drums or did you add some effects to them? They sound very thick and full. Thanks a lot. Blessings!
@@davidscott2095 Hey David, these drums were actually a packet from splice.com it was the Decap vl.3 pack. His drum samples are amazing and they have great punch to the kicks and snares I really enjoy his sample packs I would look him up if I were you
It's 🔥 to watch you work but I really appreciate your taste in sample... and I'm counting my days until I join the MPC community again. Good Looks on the nudge toward the community. Dope Beat
Hi Malo i just got an MPC One. I love your vids! Whenever I try to record a live drum beat over the recorded sample, the audio cuts off? Like it only allows one input to go to audio somehow?
Help needed, quick one though. I have audio coming into my ONE as seen by the meters but no audio seems to be leaving the main outs. How can I monitor what I'm receiving via the main outs? Basically I want to sample while hearing what I'm grabbing. Thanks to anyone in advance.
I have watched this a bunch of times now, My one issue with the MPC is sometimes it seems to overwrite the tracks, i did this step by step and it worked perfect, the other times i have done the exact same thing, sometimes the drums aren't there or it plays the sample on the drum pads....very strange.
I just ordered my retro version MPC one. Your videos inspired me to switch from my native instrument MK2 to MPC one. Answer if you wish…but how can you use your phone to get samples?.? Do you plug you phone into the Mpc via USB or does it just listen to your phones speakers? Thanks man I love your content 👍.
Hay brotha, thank you for taking the time to check out some of my content it really means a lot🙏🏽. and grate question in regards sampling from your phone I have a video covering this topic: here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eJv1-2mo6uw.html I use a cable which you can find in the description of this video
Is there a way to chop samples and NOT create a new program? If I only have 5 chops from a sample (and we have 8 banks with the newer mpc's) creating a new program seems unnecessary.
Hey Zach, that’s a great question and something that I have not seen many people talk about. To answer your question, absolutely yes. You are able to chop up as many slices you want and save them in the MPC’s sample pool without putting them into an already existing program, you could be in later on added him into an already existing program if you’d like
I know exactly what’s going on because I’ve had this happen to me multiple times. By any chance do you have an Instagram or email where I can send you a short video on how to get rid of that? Send me a link or reach out to me through Instagram if so
Thank you for these vids. Is there any way to make the samples last as long as I hold the pad down for, and then stop when I release? (If that makes sense)..
Hey brother thank you so much for dropping by, yes there is a way of doing that by using the loop future but it does has its limitations, I haven’t dabbled with it as much personally but the option is there
Grate question, if you want to create the slices without creating a program you just have to hit Convert and when it ask you if you want to create a program tell it no and it will save the slices you made on the sample pool so you can recall them latter when you want
can anyone tell me how he did this- I mean how did he plug his phone right into the MPC One and sample directly from aTY video! I would like to try that! I came here bc I got the song I wanted to sample as an MP3 and was trying to figure out how to make it show in the sampler, but man, this dude just single handedly cut out the middle man!
Hey Waldo, Brother I appreciate you asking this question because I have a video releasing tomorrow morning on how I’m connecting my phone directly to my MPC one using a simple cable. I hope this will be able to answer your question.
Thank you so much for taking the time and dropping the question in the first place it really helps a lot as I’m making these videos. I’ll definitely leave you the link here as soon as that video is uploaded tonight or tomorrow morning. Blessings to you brother and thank you for the subscription
theres the whole.... do you use android or iPhone question. android means you want an 8th stereo to split quarter inch cable. iPhone means that but also adapter because of that lightning connection. anyway thats the quick nasty explanation
@@MidiFister on my maschine i connect it to the computer via usb,and i have my computer connected to a mixer which has speakers connected… the maschine allows me to sample right from my computer, is there a way to do that on mpc?
