Mr. Big & Friends perform "Shine" from the 2001 album "Actual Size" to kick off the All-Star Jam portion of the Mr. Big & Friends Celebrate the Life of Pat Torpey show at The Canyon Club.
This is the first live performance by Mr. Big since their 2002 Farewell Tour with Richie Kotzen on lead guitar and was known as the ending theme to the 2001 anime Hellsing.

Dude this show would of been so bad ass to see with Ritchie being there with them. They had some good stuff with Ritchie no doubt. Just saw Eric in detroit other night and Eric still has it and is amazing

Thank you for posting this! I was able to be there to watch this live, and it's amazing to relive it. This performance got me a little emotional seeing it live and seeing the video again also did that

Wow. Dumb question but have Paul Gilbert and Richie ever played together? I don’t recall reading about any tension. Seemed like scheduling and career commitments that caused different line ups. Mr Big is just awesome!

In this concert... they played To Be With You at the end I think P.G. does not really like that, that is the reason Mr. Big doesn't play any R.K. songs live.

He played an entire set with Mr. Big prior to the all star/Mr. Big and friends jam. There’s zero reason he would be playing a song he didn’t write during an era he wasn’t in the band.
