Mr. Big is one of the most underrated bands ever. I loved them the first time I heard them. When Lean Into It came out, I was blown away. Man what a lineup. As a matter of fact, I played Lean Into nonstop. I was dating this young woman back then and everytime we went out I had Lean Into It in the CD player. I would always sing To Be With You to her when it came on. I ended up asking her to marry me and she said yes. 30 years later, we are still together and To Be With You is our song.

@@GuitarBrigadechannel Yes, they are. I guess the term 'underrated' is because their albums were not commercially successful (best-selling or million copies of albums sold) if we compare to other bands, such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, LZ, AC/DC, Metallica, or even BTS (wtf).

I remember buying Racer X Street Lethal in 1985 and then Second Heat in 1986. I was hooked on Paul Gilbert then and then Mr. Big showed not only his amazing technical ability but musical growth. Damn, I love this cat!

I've been a huge fan since my 6th. grade (1996) and now, my kids also love Mr. Big a lot...In our ups and downs, Mr. Big's songs were played or sung or heard with immense feelings...and indeed, this band has become a family thing for us...Just can't describe in words, but thanks Paul and others.

Mr. Big is one of my favorite bands. Such gifted and amazing musicians, geniuses of their own instruments. Miss Pat Torpey. But I'm glad Eric, Billy and Paul are still rocking hard! Love this song so much. Paul is such fun to watch playing. You know he puts his heart on every note he plays.

Paul has shaped my playing as a guitarist, my greatest influence, the best teacher I've ever had (his old VHS lessons were priceless). I still am a gazillion miles away from playing as good as he does but I'm still very happy my hero is still kicking ass up to this very day.

I remember learning this (wrong) when it came out, then seeing a friend of mine play it and blow me away. What a creative lick and catchy as hell song. Loved this album so much. Eric's voice was amazing on this song.

I remember seeing Mr Big opening for Aerosmith in Milano in the early 90s. Honestly, they blew Aerosmith off the stage. Very impressive.

Fantastic, Mr. Paul Gilbert Big. I've been a huge fan of you and the band since the beginning. And this song I got the intro back in Guitar Player Magazine when I was younger. Life is like that, sometimes we disbelieve our potential and I ended up going through it for a long time, unfortunately I lost a lot of what I had already learned and achieved, because my mind is always being bombarded with this "dismay" throughout years old. But it was great to see this video, to see that you don't stop, it keeps getting better, and I'm going to take this solo, this intro, this song again. The intro of this song is the reason why I learn to play guitar back in 90's. Well I still can't shred until now, but playing guitar does change my life. It saves me. Paul was already an accomplished guitarist when he was in Mr Big. Now he is a way better guitarist and a legend. i respect him because age doesn't make him stop learning and creating songs. He is more creative nowadays than when was in Mr Big.
