I remember exactly my first time : came back from a long week of work, I exceptionally smoked a little bit. Was sitting down and asked myself ''wait, do Wayne and Jay have song together?''. I remember when Jay yelled ''YOUNG'' I went fucking crazy
Cartier Family 4 Life Love Y'all Reactions Videos I grew up with lil wayne all his songs like he is the goat and thank you for playing one of my favorite songs bless up.🙏🏾
Love this track. Wayne had like 4 verses lol so not a fair heads up but both of them ate. And btw Wayne’s last verse is him spitting a Jay verse. Wayne looks up to and respects Jay. He even has a bunch of Jay lyrics tatted on him. 2 🐐🐐
This song has been in rotation for me since the album originally drop, this song, Let the Beat Build and Dr. Carter from that same album are just timeless to me.
You damn right I'm a huge Eminem fan for 25 years. But I also been a huge Wayne fan and have him in my top 5. His first 3 Carter albums are classics, his rock rap album was so incredibly unique but dope, and the dude is the GOAT of mixtapes. Anyone who claims to be a hip-hop head, BETTER know Wayne and his catalogue, from "sklrr on 22s to 500 Degrees to the Carter series and multiple mixtape series. Let's not forget he also brought the world both Drake and Nikki Minaj. Give him his flowers.
wayne really was ahead of his time but so many got caught up in his drug use that they never realized the depth of his word play and ryhme schemes, glad yall are diving in and enjoying it
Carter 3 one of my all time favorite albums ever Up there with Raekwon purple tape (what y’all know about that one ?? Lol) Love that y’all doing this one
Give bitter sweet symphony a try by the verve. Also a few disturbed songs, you listened to the sound of silence but listen to the real disturbed, Down with the sickness, Ten thousand fists or Indestructible, saw them live and it was amazing, wicked mosh pit too. :)
I've never been into a group of people reactiing to music videos just because there's always one that won't stop talking over the video but you guys react to videos really well. If you guys haven't yet, I highly recommend reacting to Snow Da Product. You guys like bars, than I know you will like Snow. And I know for a fact you will have new followers after Snow reaction videos.
A pound (1lb) in Spanish like literal translation is a libra. Which I didn’t realize until I was watching this reaction. Makes that libra scale bar even harder!!!!
i wish yall could do 3peat but it might be too hard for youtube haha edit: im from Detroit and grew up with Em but all high school 09-11 wayne was the goat! his mixtapes are crazy. Pac, biggie, Em and wayne on my mount Rushmore
This Is My Favorite Hip-Hop Song - CartierFamily - Mr. Carter - Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. Lil Wayne Feat Shawn Corey Carter JAY-Z [Produced By Andrews Correa] [Year: 2008] [Album: Tha Carter III]
And yeah Ross is right, been listening to Em' since 98 but I've learnt to respect and appreciate Wayne, he gets out of this world with the lyrics sometimes, definitely when hes in pocket hes on that top tier level, for me though the autotune shit and the repetitive shit is why i don't have Wayne in my top 10.
A few suggestions from my personal favourites: Tupac and big daddy Kane - wherever you are Shyne - That’s gangsta/ the commission MOP - Cold as ice Jay Z and Biggie - Brooklyn’s finest West side Connection - the gangster, the killer and the dope dealer Dr Dre - stranded on death row DMX - N done started something Method man and red man - serial killers Big L and Fat Joe - the enemy Tupac Biggie and Big Stretch - house of pain Nas and AZ - life’s a bitch Wu Tang - can it all be so simple Jay z - money cash goes The Game - Martians vs Goblins Tupac - Pain Naughty by nature - yoke the joker Comptons Most wanted - straight up menace Dr Dre - xxxplosive DMX - we right here The Game - one blood (remix) Jay Z - it’s murda Tupac - under pressure
Em is more skillful at the art of rapping but Wayne has such a cool style, I grew up listening to and appreciating both for what they do, They both in my top 3 favorite rappers along with Kxng Crooked, all three are goats to me.
I have a request! When my daughter was in high school I would pick her & her friend's up from school and I totally shocked them when I put on Krazy Bone IF THEY KNEW. The 2nd verse is a woman rapping. I nailed it every word and the just stared at me. After that they tried to teach me other songs but that song was special. So let me know if you have heard this song or what you think of it.
Those last bars Wayne spit were Jay bars “I swear to everything when I leave this earth, it’s gone be on both feet, never knees in the dirt…” It’s from Lucky Me
Lil Wayne is easily up there with the best but there was a time when he truuly blew around Carter 3 and after that made some garpage verses, like just freestyling wasted some bs as feats. That and so many after him trying to copy him and it's not easy to do because the way he uses his voice (and how it is, is very unique). It's nice to see that he really haven't been releasing a bad verse in a good while and it feels like he is in the legazy mode right now.
