Brent Jay Spiner is an American actor, comedian, and singer best known for his portrayal of the android Lieutenant Commander Data in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation and four subsequent films.
I saw the title of this video and thought he was talking to President Jimmy Carter! LOL. This must be some regional talk show I've never heard of. Nice interview in any case.
I'd love to have a tea and chat with man!! Such an amazing human and actor.... and gentleman!! from what I've seen in interviews... (also makes me laughs)
he kind of reminds me of Tom Hiddlestone. Gentle look but a hint of madness and that perfect velvety smooth voice... I'm sure if Brent Spiner was Tom Hiddle's age, he could have cultivated an amazing fandom as big as Tom Hiddle's army.

First off, Star Trek fans were way ahead of the curve. Cosplaying before cosplaying was a thing. And it's hard to fully explain how EVERYBODY watched Star Trek but only the most passionate people that weren't afraid to "be a geek" in public went to conventions. Everybody else was happy to just watch the show from home and love it. A tiny sliver of fans ever go to conventions...even today. Look at the incredible cosplaying that goes on at all the conventions around. Trek fans did it first.
