Wow this deck is stunning! I so love pips decks, particularly the ones who follow TDM or early Italian styles. I also like the meaning of the 3 of swords you read at the beginning ( I agree with you that heartache and so on is 5 of Cups energy). Thank you so much for sharing this deck! I hope you are feeling better. PS: The Chariot is my Birth card too 😉
I hope you're feeling better. I was soooo excited to see your walk through of this deck pop up on my feed. When I received this deck I looked up walkthroughs of the Soprafino and was deligthed to find your "For Love of the Soprafino" video. This deck has not left my desk, it is exquisite! Thank you for your lovely walkthrough and thoughts on this deck. I think the other deck you might of have been referring to at the beginning of your video was the Marigold Tarot. Once again, thank you for this walkthrough, your knowledge is always appreciated.
Thanks for sharing I backed the Vintage and absolutely love it…. He offered The Standard (blue backs)and the Vintage(red backs) here’s what he said about the majors (which you were spot on) The decks that have served as inspiration are The Soprafino, The Mitelli, The Minchiate, The Neoclassico, and the Etteilla Tarot. ❤
I backed this immediately when it showed on KS. Minchiate is my main reading style so I was elated when I saw there was going to be a modern deck! It’s a doozy of a deck to shuffle, but I absolutely love it. I’m so glad you did a review of this deck!
This deck is soooo juicy. I bought the blue back standard Ed with the expansion pack. I will use both enough to create my own vintage look! Loved your "I'm still healing but this deck needs a walk through because I need to use it" energy. I'm gonna settle into your walk through and paint my nails to go go karting with dear Son later. (Cause that makes sense). X EtA: Going through the Trumps of your vintage deck reminds me of the worn wall paper in the older homes I've visited in Rome and Sicily. With really tall ceilings, wooden shutters on the windows and old fresco wallpaper from the 60's, harking back to a time long gone. I can almost smell it... only I've got acetone mainly.
Great walkthrough!! As always!! The empress remains me of Grand Duke from Minchiate Fiorentine. I think that the emperor , death card and knights , just like you mentioned are also from this deck.
Hi Kelly ! I'm a long time viewer, always fascinated by your wonderful videos ! Thank you for your work ! This may be off topic here and perhaps you already did a video about this, but I am desperately looking for a third deck that would merge with the two decks that I already got, which are the HIERONYMUS BOSCH-Tarot by Travis McHenry and the MADHOUSE TAROT by Eugene Vinitski and Elsa Khapatnukovski. The same question goes for two other decks that are more on the lighter side - but for now I would so love to hear your suggestion which third deck could match and merge with these two beautiful decks that I mentioned. Any suggestions ? Thank you, greetings from Hungary !
