Transalpina, the highest road in Romania, often referred to as the "King's Road" or "The Road of the Ceușescu," is a stunning mountain pass in the Carpathian Range of Romania. It stretches over 150 kilometers, making it the highest road in the country, with its highest point reaching an elevation of around 2,145 meters (7,037 feet) above sea level.
