Maiden voyage for this Husky 390 XP that's headed to Washington state for Mr. Green to commence eradication festivities on some of Washington states widow making foliage. And yah, slight miss on the far corner - do wear glasses for a reason.... Switching back and forth from Dolmar - Husky - Stihl (all three this day) handle bar configurations doesn't seem to help the process much either.
You can hear the slight blubber at high idle. Since this is the first go round for this saw, I thought it prudent to be running her a little rich. That, coupled with the marginal grind courtesy of the off par new stones, makes for cutting that is a little slower than usual. Both Mr. Keyes and myself had the opportunity to do some sawyering with this 390 XP and thought it pulled pretty good.
Currently there is a big push for chip logs. We are slicking off quite a few units with puny trees as a result. Thanks to Mr. Keyes for letting me juice his fatty, as well as Mr. Green for the first test drive!
As we consider Easter, let us ponder not the bunny, eggs and chocolates, but that our Savior rose from the dead - that we might live!
