It is biblically correct, as in, these words are most definitely there in Genesis, but once you start making assumptions about things that are clearly NOT stated in the Bible (like that there is also God the mother) then you begin to change the bible based on what you "think" God means. God did not give us all of the answers, especially to things that aren't important, such as what Jesus really looks like or when He will come back to judge the living and the dead, but He would most definitely have mentioned there being a God the mother if it were true because that is a pretty important thing to leave out. He made sure we knew about His son, Jesus, who is God and man in one and is 1/3 of the holy trinity (God the father, Son, and Holy ghost) but He NEVER says anything about God the mother. Wouldn't it make more sense that God is speaking as a Trinity, of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? According to Scripture as a whole, the full Trinity was present at creation. Genesis 1:2 describes the Spirit of God hovering over the waters, and John 1:1-3 reveals that the Word, Christ, was active in the creation of all things. So, seeing as the trinity was present at creation, wouldn't it make more sense that He was speaking of The Holy Trinity when He referred to Himself as 'we?' We cannot take His words and just make up our own guess as to what He means. Now, with symbolic things, even then, we should not make assumptions, but should realize these things could be symbolism or parables, and leave it at that, rather than to proclaim these things as fact. God states very clearly that praying to anyone other than Him (Father, son, holy ghost) is worshiping a false idol or false God. Therefore, praying to, or believing in a "God the mother" is worshiping a false idol and is a sin. Women (on earth) may be the ones who give life, but God created women and created them to do so. That does not mean that it holds true with creation. He created each and every living thing with its own purpose. He never speaks of a mother God, therefore we should absolutely NOT create one. Even Mary, Jesus' mother was not a holy being, she was a human being who bore the son of God and of man, our savior. She wasn't meant to be idolized. Respected and admired, yes, but not idolized or prayed to.

Hello Mars, with all due respect, I understand that Galatians 4:26 mentions our mother, but if you read to the beginning of that same chapter, you’ll see Paul is speaking allegorically not literally. Specifically he was speaking on the two covenants through Sara and Hagar, of which Sara is our mother (under God’s covenant, not man). Paul was not saying we have another God. Please don’t be mislead by this organizations warped interpretation of the word. Lean into God to give you discernment for what his word is saying, not man’s. It is understanding about who their husband was and who their sons were. They both had the same husband Abraham who is our forefather of faith. Abraham represents the heavenly family who will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Abraham represents God the Father, Sarah represents God the Mother and Isaac represents Jesus Christ. We who are born thru Christ become children of promise like Isaac that promise being eternal life. Galations4v26 says we we(the believers) have a Mother in Heaven, Revelations21v10 says she is the bride the wife of the Lamb who is Christ our Father and she comes down to earth out of heaven from God. The Jerusalem above and the New Jerusalem are one in the same, our Mother so yes she is in the Bible

I guess I'd like to preface that I consider myself a born-again Christian have had fairly extensive conversations with other members of your church about the verse in Galatians and many others. After having (sometimes many hours long) conversations with them, I do think I have a fairly good understanding of some of your beliefs (as a disclaimer I may not know all the details or about your beliefs personally, but have certainly done a lot of personal research on your church because some of the members I talked to did seem to bring up some interesting arguments when we first met). With that said however, after doing the research and having many conversations, I still cannot in the right mind agree with your church's interpretation of the Bible to come to the conclusion that there is a God the mother. If you would like me to pull up some scripture, I'd be happy to, but again I have spent hours going back and fourth and often found we would kinda dig a little rabbit hole. (Still if you'd like me to explain why I don't see eye to eye with your church's beliefs from a scriptural standpoint, I'd be happy to provide a few points we could possibly discuss.) Regardless, I do want to pose this question to you (or other members of your church who may have some good input), but when you first read through the Bible - was the idea of a God the mother blatantly and obviously present to you? Or did you have to read through the Bible and learn specific teachings with other members of the WMSCOG to see this? And lastly, I really want to make sure I am coming off with sincerity here - I know a lot of emotion can be lost in simply typing and wanna make sure its not read as coming across differently. Just because you haven't been asked doesn't mean, MANY other leading members haven't been asked. elizabeth t they kind of agree with that, but they refer to the _new_ Jesus as Ahnsahnghong and their mother leader. When prompted, they from their own mouths say they worship _two_ gods, however the Bible tells us there’s only one. So weird. They couldn’t even follow this simple truth. I study with this church alot (not to get into biblical debate) but to state for record studying in person allowed me to understand more clear. About Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother its there. I was able to understand that gen 1:26-27 it shows two images male and female and it true trinity is there but as male image. And the female image. Has to be someone because there is no female image inside the Trinity.

Tony Adams the verses used to create the doctrine is exactly the same as the Trinity’s. Note that The Trinity is a doctrine that was introduced in AD325, during the Council of Nicaea. This is introduced together with Easter, Sunday Service, Christmas etc. Since WMSCOG believe in The Trinity or rather Sabellianism, it means to deny the only begotten Son which God the Father sent to us to redeem of our sins. Instead of removing both heresies, WMSCOG adhered to one. I am afraid to say, it is denying the Bible at its best. John 17:3.

Amen, I don t shoot the brother down because by our fruit we will be known. But yes brother in John 1:1 as it says in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word is God . And we go to Genesis as it says shows us Jesus has been with God since the beginning but God always was and where the word of God also says, everything was made through him and for him. God created everything and was His and now He gives it to His son which through our faith and obedience we become co-heirs Amen. It's always good to listen but we are to test our brothers and ourselves and everything we listen to we are to take what is good and leave what is bad behind.
