The Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy was one of my favourite feuds from Smackdown in 2006, my favourite moment was when Kennedy called out Taker and busted him wide open with his microphone, he looked like a real bad guy. I loved all 3 of their ppv matches especially their last ride match at Armageddon as they did a fantastic job in building up Kennedy as the next breakout star, such a shame that it didn't lead to him becoming a world champion, he was such an entertaining heel.
Then they added in MVP with Kennedy and Kane with Taker and had a few more matches too if i can recall correctly. I enjoyed Kennedy and Takers stuff too. I actually liked Mr Kennedy too at the time, but then when he was Mr Money in the Bank at WM and all of a sudden bang... Hes gone. I wasn't smartened up at the time as to why he was gone though in mid 2000s
I still have mine. Was from when TNA was clearing out stuff for like 5 dollars a tee. I wish I had grabbed 2 or 3 of those for that price though mine is super worn out.
His name doesn't get mentioned enough when people talk about great sellers. Ricky Morton was great, don't get me wrong, but it's the little things that he's talking about in this video that makes him the best in my opinion. Ken is criminally underrated.
“I wanna work with you one day we can make some money together” “Week later he said did you hear ? No I didn’t we’re gonna work together” that was taker he put in the word and got it that’s why taker is respected
As a 10 year old kid I fucking hates Kennedy and looking back now he was a tremendous heel and also hearing about what happened to his WWE run really makes me feel bad for him because he could’ve been a big time player for a while
I mean he comes off working a program with undertaker then he wrestles Batista for the world heavyweight champion at royal rumble then wins money in the bank at wrestlemania 23 it’s safe to say he was gonna be champ
He did indeed. He very much so hinted at though Taker liked him there was other stars at the top that didn’t and it outweighed what Taker wanted meaning he was firmly taken out by those boulders that hit him even though he tried to grasp that rope as hard as possible
It's kinda hard to guess if he is a stand up guy or not by listening to him. I still think Cena is a good dude you not often heard bad stories about him besides the Nexus and Alex Riley stuff. I mean yea him buring Nexus was awful i will never get over that one as a Fan. Riley? idk what happened there just because Tyler Reeks and Jtg said something doesn't mean Riley is innocent in that story.
It was way more than just the Nexus and Alex Riley. The entire Wyatt family lost their steam after working with him. Zack Ryder lost all his momentum after the association with Cena. I could go on and on.
@@darthdesidus4361 bro Zack Ryder was never going anywhere. yes the crowd even chanted his name during a Rock Promo in msg survivor series 2011 which was crazy. But still the dude has no main event charisma just because you get cheered doesn't mean you're main event level. Daniel Bryan for the best example was beloved like almost no other but didn't sell anything big, the buyrates when he was on top were not good just google it. Cena was the top guy for almost a decade there will always be people who will shit on you or been jealous.
@@watersandblue6001 never said Ryder was main event, but he could’ve been a strong mid card act. He sold merch and he got over. There was no reason to bury him.
@@watersandblue6001 Daniel Bryan was never put in a position to be a megadraw. In 2013/2014, they were constantly putting him down and pointing out his flaws and with the crowd on his side, the company chose to ignore it & try to put the screws to it. You will only go so far without the company getting behind you
@@watersandblue6001 as for John Cena? He was on top for over a decade and in that decade millions of domestic viewers disappeared. John was not the God they made him out to be.
Even though I hated him the rivalry between him and undertaker was awesome I’m still upset that he never became a world heavyweight champion especially when he won the money in a bank he had a minor injury and they wanted him to win against the undertaker he got injured so had to drop the belt before he got injured taker was supposed to be champion for a year they definitely fucked up Kennedy run at smackdown and after he came back he never gave him another title shot so B.S.
Austin went into business for him self at one point lol n taker has more a less always been locker room leader soo I dno if I wanna have a personality like that..
I mean yeah when you first go in your gonna go for yourself to get urself on top and do good but as time goes on you gotta start bringing up other people around you
@@theneighborhoodvideos4029 who he bring up tho? Hbk too???? They put nobody over, cena either. Rock put brock over, brock put seth and Eddie over. If u not gone put nobody else over idc about your work. Austin and hbk get idolized but was selfish af
@thegoat6325 Stone Cold has already said a few times that he didn't mind putting Lesnar over. He just didn't like that he had to job to him in a throwaway match without any PPV build-ups or plans for a PPV match between them.
No he didn’t screw him if you listened clearly he says how taker gave him the advice and liked his style but also said not everyone is gonna like Kennedys style so if kennedy listened he wouldn’t have been fired
