I like to think that Phoenix was just bopping his head to the beat until he heard that. Phoenix isn't okay with killing obviously so he starts threatening to leave the Law and Disorder team. Eventually the two come to an agreement and continue to be the source of some of the best rips in the tournament.
Holy shit I love everything about this. Their themes clashing each other and it then becoming a heated battle before achieving a splendid unity. Fits their team extremely well.
At first Monokuma is jammin out then Phoenix comes in and throws off his groove and by the end they both are vibing together, quite a beautiful story actually.
Anyone wanna point out how Phoenix’s part of the song is very structured and rigid while Monokuma’s is more loose and chaotic. So much thought put into this shit it’s scary
I’d like to imagine that Phoenix and Monokuma originally were against each other, I.E. their parts being separated at first, but after realizing that both of their music together works well, they put together a temporary truce until they win, then they’ll fight for the crown one on one
I am legitimately surprised at how much I love this. Played neither game before, so I figured I wouldn't get much out of the rips. Oh man, was I wrong.
I've never played a Danganronpa game before, but Ace Attorney is one of my favorite videogame series of all time (if not the) and all of the games soundtracks are amazing in general. This remix is near perfect, if you like Visual Novels i definitely recommend it. And i also have heard great things about Danganronpa, thinking in giving it a shot in the future.
@@gustavoduarte3507 No, I'm not really into Visual Novels... or novels in general, but if I'm being recommended a game's soundtrack, I'll certainly give it a listen... a Visual listen... you know, with the ears. I guess that's not Visual at all. Thank you for letting me know about the soundtrack.
@@gustavoduarte3507 If you love Ace Attorney and like what you've heard of the soundtrack, then i highly recommend playing Danganronpa. You can nab the first game for less than $10 during most Steam sales and it is well worth it.
gustavo duarte definitely try out danganronpa. As a knowledgable fan of danganronpa it is very good and has the Ace attorney feels but very different gameplay and rules and you will definitely like it
@@thinglet2478 who is schuichi, are they some bad translation butchered name of a character from the Japanese versions or is that a v3 character, (I haven't played v3 yet)
730,000 views later, this is still one of the uncontested best tracks in all of KFAD. 3 years have passed since its release, yet Mr Monokuma's Swing Lesson remains the 4th most viewed rip of the tournaments. Ahmaykmewsik, you did an amazing job putting this chaotic performance together, be proud of how well celebrated it is!
Looking back to this song where it solidified L&D as the biggest competitor in the KFAD tournament was an absolute menace. Sucked that they lost at the end of day back then, but K was also one hell of a competitor of his source list.
Such a weird choice to arrange, but damn if it doesn't sound awesome! I'm sorry, Papyrus, I'll always love you more than Sans, but I'm going with #TeamKuma on this one. Let's crack this round wide open! EDIT: I just realized what L&D having Mystery Skulls implies: Turntable Turnabout, baby! Hell yeah!
yeah this song and L&D’s source list carried them really far. but the thing is most of their other songs just didn’t really reach their full potential tbh, and I only really remember this one and I think the mystery skulls one? they felt like a huge missed opportunity
Well even if they didn't win... we can congratulate them with one thing... they are one of the rare contestants who will ever have 1 loss to their name at this point in time.
This is actually untrue Chaze and Hinchy say “buh buh buh Granddad” while this song is a very distinct “babababababa YEEHOOO” so they are very different
I always like when voice lines get put into remix’s like this, especially if they’re in rhythm with the song. Makes it seem like the character is actually there enjoying the song
i think the team have said not to expect a tournament next year... but let's be real after this it'd be pretty hard not to really want a third one, and i'd be happy to see l&d make a comeback in some form
KFAD Court Monokuma: So, it was you who got batter on the floor, wasn’t it! HOBaRT: *quiet mixing sounds* Monokuma: Answer the question! Need I remind you that you sir are under oath! Phoenix: *slams head on desk*
Reasons to vote for Law and Disorder (besides the fact they have the best name) - danganronpa music + ace attorney musics - "mystery" sources mean stuff like Ghost Trick and Gravity Falls (This rips a pretty good banger by the way)
I'm glad that I voted for L&D when the time was right. Although, it's a shame that Papyrus has to lose to let this duo win. A soul for a soul, I suppose. This rip is probably my favourite KFAD2 rip we've gotten so far though.
Probably the strongest first impression of any rip in the entire tournament besides Gravibus Octanguli for Jack & Elmo. This arrangement is fucking fantastic and Ahmaykmewsik knocked both this and the Discussion Mix out of the fuckin park to create a true top 4 contender.
Ah yes, but which sounds is he making? The babababas? Or the Objections?…. …. ….Ok Probably the Objections since that is something only Phoenix can do.
This is great, the vibes I’m picking up from it are like Monokuma made Phoenix and his circle of friends participate in a killing game and he’s taking him on in a class trial. I hope these franchises get a crossover one day but I really don’t know how that would even be written since they have such different plots.
and none of them involve any dimension breaking nor would there worlds be able to combine.... Yeah getting a crossover would need the most ridiculous solution ever created. But I bet it would be tons of fun doing it.
ITS TIME TO TAKE DOWN THE FUNNY SKELETON WITH THE LAWYER AND DESTROYER DUO, AYY WHAT A GREAT SONG, TEAM D&L TO THE END after finding out that l&d is spelled backwards, I feel as if it is punishment time for myself........ well watevs
Hearing this in the Overview Trailer already told me this was a certified banger. Thank you, Mr. Monokuma, I definitely learned how to swing well. Great job, Ahmaykmewsik!
I don't follow Siivagunner content regularly, so every time I click onto a video I have to spend 15 minutes digging through the last few weeks of lore to figure out what the hell I'm listening to.
If you havent checked out the website in the desc you should. This rip got me hooked into this whole tourney and it's kinda amazing. They put a lot of effort into this shit it's awesome.
@@tahseenkhan3629 2 years I'd like to say thank you lmao. I'd been aware of something called "Silvagunner" existing for many years (since 2015/16 Soundcloud days) but was always intimidated by the sheer amount of in-jokes and had no idea what was going on. Your comment was what encouraged me to figure out what was going on with KFAD 2 which was amazing, and then a year later I found the wiki and deep-dove through all the lore up to that point and now I listen daily. Thanks for getting me into Siivagunner man :)
Now I'm gonna be disappointed if everyone Law & Disorder beats doesn't get a Punishment, like how Thanos snapped Ajit Pai in the first KFaD. But given we have the losers' bracket this time around, I don't see that happening.
Seriously; the original song (Mr. Monokuma's Lesson/Class) is a bit weird, but this is a genuinely bopping arrangement! Major props to Ahmaykmewsik on this one :)
If this team wins Monokuma probably would make every contestant or other channel characters play a killing game, with Phoenix being the one to stop him.
Planting my flag here: this is the ground zero for the "L&D are botting!!!" lunacy. How you ask? Allow me to explain. As evidenced by the high view count (118k at the time of writing) vs the ones uploaded immediately before (40k) and after (35k), this rip was clearly picked up by the youtube algorithm. I can confirm this as I myself was served this video on my youtube recommendations despite rarely watching Siivagunner content. Being picked up by the algorithm means that as many as 80k people who watch Danganronpa or Ace Attorney related content were shown this video as their introduction to Kfad. Now with a banging song and a really cool team pairing, that average viewer is going to wonder what this video is, what it's for. They'll scroll back to the introduction video and realise this is a competition where you vote for your favourite sourcelist. A fraction of this 80k pool will do this, they'll vote for L&D because L&D is the only character they know. Is this irresponsible? Of course, they've not done their due diligence and researched the other characters, however, if Ace Attorney and Danganronpa is their favoured character in a given matchup then that means they prefer those game's soundtracks over the other character. They're voting based on an incomplete sourcelist, which actually makes their vote quite responsible since the power of just 2 soundtracks is enough for them to prefer L&D over an entire other sourcelist. Some may even switch sides on a given matchup. An even smaller fraction still, like yours truly, will take the time to look further into the tourney, listen to other rips, vote in other matches, read the Mojo, etc. This increases the overall voting pool that you see in other matches, whilst also accounting for L&D votes , even further widening the vote gap between L&D and whoever their opponent is. None of this is botting or illegitimate. It's regrettable that the algorithm has injected an amount of a specific fanbase into the tournament, but it is not botting or rigging or anything so underhanded and conceited. This is a tournament for fun and a day of cool rips. Stop your salt from flowing people.
Theo Higgins, interesting theory, but it makes me wonder why that same thing wasn’t enough to get Krabs further. It seems like the RU-vid algorithm picked up on Mr. Krabs Rave as well, I think it garnered more views than this one. If that injected new supporters into the tournament in a similar way to L&D, he still fell relatively quickly. (Note that I don’t follow the botting claim, it is a silly accusation)
oh yeah, this might be a big stretch, but I'm wondering if this could have also contributed to mariya's popularity - the third most viewed video is the dual between mariya & jack bros. (92k)
@@eagleyia2907 That might be because SpongeBob doesn't have as weirdly dedicated a fandom to it as both Danganronpa or Ace Attorney. A lot of people passively like SpongeBob, but I don't think there are people actively discussing about it like these other two.
Honestly this rip is STILL my favorite and I wasn’t even hoping they’d win! Even without the Fun Lore they bring, it’s getting hard not to support them ;w;
Monokuma: "Haha! #TeamKuma will rip up the competition and head straight to victory!" Phoenix: "Yeah..." (Wait... why does the hashtag only have *his* name in it!?)
Daily Reminder that ANY King for Another Day Arrangement could be Amazing and could Top the Previous one. ^^ Edit: 3:03 This Gives me a "Deez Nuts Remix" Vibe and I LOVE THIS! XD Edit 2: This Keeps getting Better and Better. I Love it even more now. ^^
