MR2 Spyder Brake Cables & Fuel Filter Replacement

My parking brake is totally busted so this is surprisingly topical. Honestly looks harder than I would've expected, oh well I'm tired of keeping a brick behind my back wheel 😂 (even though I keep it in gear. Gotta be safe)

ty for this, i am about to replace my ebrake cable as well.

I tried to swap out the passenger side cable after I completed an oil change. My 2000 Spyder was up on jacks but I could not access the third Bolt holding the gas tank. Too many things in the way how did you get to it? My cable has snapped and actually broken but I'm still unable to get it off the car.

My ebrake cables have seized both rear calipers; so I just don't use the ebrake anymore!

I can't find those cables on eBay. Can you tell me what is the part code?

Can you drop the tank without removing the top lid, I would guess not but I heard if you are only changing the brake lines you dont have to fully drop the tank.

So it looked like you did only the passenger side in the video. With the tank lowered on the pass side were you able to do the driver side too?

How long did this take you? I am in MD and without a garage so I need a shop to do it for me.

Did you swap the engine with the handbrake broken?? mines broken and plan ons wapping but havent done the brake yet

Did you ever fix your fuel gauge to measure correctly?

Would that be the same for a Toyota mrs 2000 ?
