Everything was fine until the blowtorch. Use a heat gun or hair dryer instead.

I forgot about the regulator on the pump assembly, when I think of fuel pressure regulator I think of the one built into the fuel rail. I guess we have two, and you def can't change the one in the fuel rail cause it's crimped into it, unless you go with an aftermarket fuel rail which I've yet to do. Aem makes good ones but man with the fuel rail kit it gets expensive.

The 'regulator' on the fuel rail is actually a pulsation damper to counteract when each injector fires, the FPR is in tank only.
