We start our day from Helena catching up to a MRL helper set returning back to Helena, then we head up by the Iron Ridge Tunnel for the loaded oil cans with helpers cut in mid way. A nice P3 horn on the leader engine BNSF 5489. Next we head above Skyline trestle to see the helpers return. We head back to Missoula to DeSmet and see our loaded coal drag (from 3 days ago at Bozeman Pass!) depart westward, followed by the Gas Train that is sent up the 4th division, which we chase and grab at various spots all the way to St Regis. Again thanks to all the MRL guys for the waves and tolerating us on the chases.
