@@grantbattle4911 yep, I don't even recognize 95% of the songs and names anymore. Lil Shit Nas? Kek. This gen z era even makes Nicki Minaj in the 2010s look like a goddess
@@jasonwilletts559 I think she is a good performer but it the same old story. She needs to write some more decent songs but unfortunately that is a rare talent.
More revisiting my youth I remember these times like they were just yesterday but it's like half my lifetime ago god it sure went quick I feel like a memba berry from SouthPark "hey memba this song" "yeah I member"
Still sounding fresh in 2023. One of those tunes that you’d forgotten about but when you hear it again you be “oh yeh, I remember how good this was” love it.
If you guys are interested in what this song samples, it's called 'Rose Len' by Lennie Hibbert. Salaam Remi flipped this sample so damn well. The original song is definitely worth a listen
Salaam Remi is imo one of the greatest producers of all time. I mean his catalog is crazy - From Fu-gee-la to Girls on fire. I don't think very many can match his versatility
It's strange to see such a great role model for young people, rather than someone acting slutty or just having a really bad attitude. Society has changed alright.
I was a bit surprised as well. I was expecting at least 2-3 million. To be honest I think YT views are more to do with how "current" a song is than how legendary it is.
This song is sh!t, now BOO, or envy is fucking phenomenal. Ms Dynamite is definitely in the top 5 of greatest MC's ever. Awesome MC, but singing sorry this is crap. The song BOO with Sticky, I have listened to that 100 times in a row, hell i have had it play in my car driving to work for over a week on repeat, her talents is MC'ing, and she is awesome at it.
Daaaaamn I can't believe I finally find it ! It's been yeeeaaars I'm trying to find this song, I was too young when it came out couldn't remember the name of the track always had in my mind the high notes of her voice singing the hook, shit I can't explain my feelings right now. The early 2000's music is really a special era
Thats 1 UK 🇬🇧 hip hop track that deserves it's props. Still sounds fire 🔥 after 20 odd years. Big up Ms Dynamite. Much respect to her Bro. Akala too. Super talented and conscious siblings. Never heard them on a track together?.
Classic, this was played recently on my cousins car, and damm it just made me appreciate London a lot more, the culture and life and the black British culture
I am shocked it's 2020 and this song doesn't have 200 million views! This song is as fresh today as it was first released a couple of years ago. It still goes hard
When i first started going to the gym this song was brand new and was always on in that gym. I haven't stepped foot in that gym in nearly 20 years and moved away from my home town years ago. The gym looks totally different today as i looked them up online. The second i hear this song its like i am walking into that gym again and transported back to when i was 16.
for some reason FIFA '06 was mentioned on the TV. This song used to come on every time I loaded the game, so had to come and have a listen. Still love it!
