Ms Pac/Donkey Kong Ribbon Cable Tester 

Designed back in 2006, this, to my knowledge was the first JAMMA powered ribbon cable tester. The concept is simple, test every other pin and display the results with the LEDs on one side of the board, then flip a switch and test the other pins. If any LEDs light on the side not being tested, you have a short between pins, if an LED doesn't light on the side being tested, you have an open pin. Any IDC cable can be tested up to 50 pins, and any DIP plug cable can be tested to 40 pins. Even DIP plug on one side and IDC on the other can be tested.
