One of the most moving moments of my brass banding was to attend this concert in Melbourne, and see two great Staff Bands stand in tribute to Staff Bandmaster Colin Woods (Retired). The whole night was fantastic, but I will always remember that moment.
I had the pleasure of being at this magnificent concert to hear these 2 remarkable bands play separately and in mass band formation. I was particularly thrilled to see retired bandmaster Colin Wood feted as well as he has done and continues to do a remarkable job with brass banding in Victoria.
