As always, consummate orchestration by the wonderfully talented Steven Ponsford. Weaving excerpts from Salvation Army brass classics into the framework of Lord for the Years is just brilliant and its all played so effectively by the ISB.
Interesting dip into former classics of the army. Put together with an expertise we have come to acknowledge where this composer is concerned. I still listen to The Day of the Lord regularly. The ISB here, as always, glorious.
Over 6000 views and not one comment !! What a talented Composer Steven Ponsford is and I am not musically trained but I imagine that is a challenging piece so perfectly executed by the ISB Bravo !
