What a difference from summit! On Summit everyone was there to greet you and applauded whereas Seashore you walked on with one person. Summit is more modern looking whereas Seashore is more glitzy. Thank you for sailing on different lines so those of us who can't, can through you.
When you take the key card out of the slot, it gives you about 30 seconds before it turns off ALL the power (not just the lights). So remember that if you're leaving electronics in your cabin to charge, they will not charge if you don't leave a card in the slot while you're away.
Thanks for being my guinea pigs. I booked a cruise on Seashore for November immediately after my NCL Prima sailing. Such a relief to see you having so much fun. That sure is a shiny ship!

For anyone cruising from Miami and arriving before Cruiseday and going to South Beach, absolutely avoid the bars, restaurants, and shops by Ocean Drive which is the tourist armpit of South Beach and where you'll get ripped off. Instead, go to the Lincoln Road promenade between Washington Ave and Alton Road. That is the true heart of South Beach.
We'd sailed MSC once before, but on a much smaller ship. With this being our first MSC since the restart, and a delayed embarkation schedule on top of that, things were a little confusing at first, ha ha... but not too bad!! :P
The “All-in Drinks and WiFi” is the way to go! Such good value. MSC ships are also so unique. I just wish they had a few more included casual dining options.
I am not going to lie, when I saw that giant mirror in front of the bed like that... I was like "well....msc... arent ya'll freaky with yourselves?" LOL

They work the same as most cruise lines we're used to, in that they charge separate daily gratuities to your onboard account, yes. They should have insurance available through the cruise line as well, yes.

@@maidelisr Hi. We had an awesome time. This was our second MSC cruise, the other time was with the MSC Seaside. My wife liked that one a bit more, but for me, both were great in their own way, so shiny!! They are both amazing vessels with great staff, that cannot do enough for you. Have fun and enjoy your MSC cruise! We will be May 21st on the Symphony of the Seas, so I am counting down the days, same as you:) Just love cruising!!

@@maidelisr I never take reviews very seriously. What is great for the one person might be not so great for the next. I also read the reviews, but still had an awesome time on Seashore. You have to try Royal, it is a totally different experience. This is our 6th time with Royal coming up, and our 3rd cruise since December. Royal offers many options, but we just love the Oasis class ships. There is lots to do and lots to experience. Won't it be great to do what Dee and Jay is doing, just love watching them have so much fun!! Enjoy your MSC cruise, and let me know how it was. Love cruising!!
Oh I’m so pleased to see ye are enjoying MSC Seashore! We took our first ever cruise on MSC Grandiosa 4 weeks ago in the Med and we loved it! Watching the vlog brings me back on board as the ships are very similar! 😁😁😁
We were on this cruise and briefly met you guys. It was interesting that your all-in gave you the easy plus, but they only gave us the easy package. I had asked prior to boarding and was told it would be the plus. However, on board we were told we only received the easy even though with the promo it should have included plus.
Oh wow, that’s crazy! Our promo was easy plus as well, and that’s what we ended up with. Sorry to hear your drink plan promo got confused somewhere along the way!! :O
We were on the cruise that came back before you got on - 2 passengers had medical problems caused the need to return to Puerto rico- this was handled very well by the crew. Bummed we only stopped at Ocean cay and Puerto rico. Loved the elevators and kids water park.
So excited to see you vlog on the Seashore, we did our first cruise on MSC in November and loved it so much we booked Seashore onboard for April 22. Check the deals on the first three days to book again.
love all your vlogs you two do a fantastic job. was on this ship in october mediterranean cruise ful capacity had aurea experience our dining room was like small overflow room was not good. food was terrible muster drill every day as guests get on and off at different ports never again hopefully your cruise will be a better experience
Waiting to see the whole series from MSC, my brother and sister-in-law were in the Meraviglia and they didn’t like it at all, they said the food and service was horrible, they went in January before the Pandemic.
I was on Meraviglia (my third MSC cruise) in September 2021 and the food and service was amazing. My entire party of nine (who are quite picky) were all pleased. I loved it so much that I'm going back on Divina in April (if covid behaves).
We don't even want to sail another ship unless it is Carnival but you guys are so awesome to watch, we are watching! I have said it before but bears repeating, you two are great! 😊😊
The Seashore is a very shiny, pretty ship, but I think we enjoyed our small ship experience better on MSC when we sailed Armonia. We'll have to try some other small-to-midsize ships of theirs and see how we feel!! :D
Was meant to cruise on the Seaside about a year ago now. Obviously didn't happen! I am curious about MSC though, hear so many differing things on them. That sort of entertainment does appeal - though maybe not the Italian disco!
I know their alcohol-free packages specifically states "energy drinks" but none of their alcohol packages state it. I would hope they're included, but we can't confirm that for sure, as we only drink coffee as our main energy drink, ha ha... :P
Two things I noted from this vlog: that muster drill was the most confusing I’ve ever seen! 😂😂😂 And that is the shiniest ship I’ve ever seen! ✨ I think I might have gotten overwhelmed.

Hello! When we made our reservation, MSC had a sale where we paid for an inside room but they gave us a balcony for free, no extra charge. It looks like that sale has ended now! Hope you have an amazing cruise!! :D
It's interesting that the cabaret lounge has a live band whereas the shows in the Madison Theater do not. Most guests much prefer the cabaret entertainment to the shows in the main theater based on quite a few reviews.
The pink ones are in our Amazon shop, and the blue ones, I don't even know where they came from at this point, ha ha... I think I'm using some that we picked up in a random gas station when I thought I might run out on a recent trip! Funny!! :P ~Jay
was the Aqua Panna served to you in the MDR because you had the drink package? or is it what they're serving in lieu of water in a glass out of a pitcher?
for the stateroom, I used a hotel (Hilton) keycard and was able to keep the lights on. My Casino players card did not work. I wonder if it's the thickness of the card or nfc chip. I also realize I did not get the room diffuser :(
Aha, I should've tried a few other cards in my wallet to see if they worked. We think the diffuser might have been our gold-level loyalty gift, but weren't super sure!! :D
One more question, did you also acquire the all inclusive travel/medical insurance package from To Go by MSC? Or can we get that from a third party company?
Not that we've seen. We enjoy having water delivered to the cabin when we can, but don't recall that being an option with MSC. They also don't allow you to bring beverages onboard like sodas, etc. as some other lines do.
We have cruised msc before covid and at that time you could purchase 10 one litre bottles for $40 dollars. They Would Deliver It To Your Room. Excellent Channel Btw, Best Cruise Vlog On You Tube
This sailing was December 4-11, but there wasn't much of anything decorated. A few small things started appearing over the course of our cruise as the days went on!! :P
@@parodeejay ah thatsxa shame. I'm looking forward to seeing Emmacruises's Xmas cruise videos as she was on P&O for Xmas Day and think they go very big on Christmas.
The smoking policy I see online for Seashore goes like this: "Smoking is only allowed in cigar rooms, the casino, one designated lounge, and outdoors on one side of the sun deck. Smoking is Prohibited in cabins, balconies, dining rooms, and theaters." It's usually the port side when dealing with the sun deck option, but there should be signage.
We've had folks smoking on the balconies near our cabins on ALL our recent cruises. Kinda sad that we feel like we can't enjoy our balcony because other folks aren't following the rules, but meh. MOST ships, it seems to be starboard lido where smoking is allowed, but for some reason the MSC ships seem to be portside on the highest deck. So hopefully your balcony won't be affected!!
They do! We status matched into Gold for our Armonia sailing, and as long as you sail at least once every three years, you keep that status and keep earning toward the next level.
I don’t think I could enjoy a ship that has so much chrome and neon. It looks like a Vegas strip casino from the 70s. But seriously, too much glare for my eyes .
That Muster Drill looked like it was confusing and somewhat dis-jointed, making you sit in your room watching and re-watching the video, then make you all go to the muster station at the same time. I have done a couple of Carnival Cruises and really like their muster drill procedures, on my last cruise I walked on the ship and immediately went to my muster station, watched the crew person demonstrate the life jackets, she gave a quick five minute talk, scanned my card and was done.
We loved our first MSC sailing, when we were aboard the smaller, older Armonia in 2020. We were curious to see how the shiny, new ship experience with MSC would compare!! :P
