MSC has seriously committed to the glass bridges/stairs. I was booked for MSC back in 2020 -- it turned out to be the first cruise they canceled as the whole pandemic started up. I'm really interested in what you're going to say about the food, as I've seen a lot of negative reviews of MSC included dining.
Wow - What a ship, they seem to have been around every cruise ship with a note pad and put it all together in one cruise line. Awesome, that is a treat for the eyes and value YAY. I remember Royal Caribbean back in the day and the food was so bad I did the entire Caribbean cruise fuelled by Godiva covered strawberries and cocktails as the only viable option, then I got to Hard Rock Cafe in Grand Cayman and its 22 bucks for a burger, man, MSC looks like value he he
Love your videos. Sitting here at home watching this and then some of your older ones we have missed. Its supposed to be summer here but we have rain hail and thunderstorms but 29c
I guess there was another breakfast option that is pre ordering from your room. You have to fill one piece of paper they left on the room and hang the paper on the door until 2am the day before. I'm planning on use the breakfast as my morning alarm during my next cruise. I got the free breakfast delivery on the room as part of the aurea experience.
I look forward to your cruise videos everyday! I watched an older video about prepaid tipping. Has your view changed since the pandemic or what are you doing now?
Prepaying the gratuities? We normally don’t pay them ahead of time, but just let them roll to our onboard account and pay them that way. I guess it’s all the same math, but sometimes we have onboard credit that helps with paying them, hah!! :P
I’m thinking about booking a cruise in April, do you think that is wise…I see you guys have been cruising a lot during the pandemic. Is it worth it to try?
What was the price for access to the thermal spa for the week? I wish they'd just post add-on prices online. As is the only way to see the cost of add-ons is to complete a booking, such is stupid.
They do seem to have a chat feature in their app, but we haven’t used it or checked into the pricing. As for wifi, many of their promos have it built in, which is how we typically get it. For individual plan pricing, you should be able to check their website after making a booking.
Seashore is the newer (younger) sister of the Seaside. There aren’t too many differences, but I think, if I’m not mistaken, Seaside has a bowling alley and a zip line, but Seashore has an improved (bigger) lido deck. Either way, this class of ships in beautiful. You’re gonna have so much fun!
No, we decided to cancel that because the logistics were too risky right now, but we’ve replaced it with a 14-day Panama Canal cruise on the same dates which was much easier for us to pull off right now!! :P
That game room is quite pricy, gotta tell you this ship is so flashy & your video is so high def I’m getting sensory overload. I think the public areas of this ship might make me feel overwhelmed & possibly nauseated. To be honest it also feels a little cold in a way I don’t feel on other ships, even carnival which used to be considered vulgarly flashy. I went on an old Celebrity Cruise ship on its inaugural called the Horizon & on that ship it was the opposite in that they had these long pure white spaces with no Color that felt sterile, but ultimately the same in not warm. I just got off 8 days on the magic & did not feel at all that it was either too flashy or too sterile, but also once the cruise leaves I spend 90% of my time on the deck looking at the water & the rest in the cabin only visiting the atrium when I need to buy something at the shops ( usually tobacco)
