That GM is CLEAN. It's not gaudy and over the top, just simple and clean with a good stance. I think offsetting the wheels just a TINY bit would look great and still be practical.
I had msd 2 step on my 2009 Chevy Silverado and had it set at 2500 rpms and when you rev it if you pop it to drive then back to neutral quickly before it engages into gear it shot huge flames I would def try it!
@@lmfscrew 😂😂that’s what I thought when my buddy showed me but when you go from neutral to drive then back to neutral quickly it never engages into gear so when you are revving it it somehow does something when you do it and shoots a big flame I will dm you a vid of my truck doing it!
Nice, I have a 2006 4x4 Sierra and paid 5300 for it last year, it have 242K on it and runs like a champ. I may do some of these mods you did just for fun.
same kinda i bought a 02 z71 with 199k fully loaded. paid 4500. runs and shifts like none other. knock on wood. i wanted a cat eye at first but got this and i’ve fallen in love with round body’s. it’s a gorgeous truck all around. i just graduated so i wanna get a job bust my ass and i got my eyes on some go fast parts. nothing crazy until i can throw a 480 in her.
Can you set the revs while driving so it just pop pop pops while you drive. Mine isn't stick shift either but you even if I can pop it in to neutral and blip the throttle I'll do that.
My understanding is 2 step basically lowers your rev limiter. you can control this by cutting fuel and spark. To shoot flames you leave to fuel on and only cut spark. keep in mind this can be hard on catalectic convertors
@@jakobdaoust4731 I was just trying to explain that by only cutting the spark and leaving the fuel on, every time the engine hits the limiter you are dumping unlit fuel into your exhaust that will shoot a flame out
My cousin in like 2014 when i was like 9 had almost the exact truck but on factorys and mud graps and leveled all black and he had that 2 step box on it and i always wondered what it was and when ever we were at a stop light he would do that and i thought it was because he had a clap wagon exhaust and i was always with him and he never told me why
Get a small turbo set up and you will get flames spitting out with the unburdened fuel. I’ve only seen trucks and cars with turbos that are able to do 2step like that to get their vehicles to spit flames. Or do as another person said and get bigger headers. If you can creat more compression you should get it to spit flames with out a turbo. Technically going the round drag racers go.
If your looking for flames your 10th gen will be the easiest to achieve that coming from a fellow 10th gen owner I can get 6 to 7 foot flames with mine
Does it still have the catalytic converters? If it doesn’t try the spark plug trick because your exhaust is pretty long on a full size truck the flames aren’t getting to the tip
If you modified it so you can drive around with stock exhaust cats and muffler it's almost impossible to shoot flames without blowing them out. Take and install cutouts with switch and exhaust out the side bypassing all the DOT 💩 and you're going to see flames boy are you gonna see flames. Always works to get rid of anything obstructing the flow of your exhaust. Just make it sure it goes past edge of the truck. Have fun as I did until I wrecked my Dodge D100. Yes that's right no 50 in number. Only thing I had to look out for was a cop nearby when it was getting passed inspection.
You cant bypass the cats on these trucks. They're right at the end of the Y pipes where they bolt to the manifolds. Aftermarket headers with no cats is your only option
with the vehicle in drive does it try and push through the breaks and also how to you make it where you can turn it off so it’s not on whenever your on the brakes driving normally
Possibly you’re not holding the gas pedal to the floor while on the two step or if you have cats it might not shoot flames untill it blows out your cats lol love the vids though
so I got long tube headers true dual and s&b cai catless. does this works on stock engine? does it have gains? and how does it work? I was wondering if this would damage an engine over time compared to leaving it stock? I'm interested I need a car guy. I was looking into it but stopped
They don't make a kit for a 2017 gmc sierra 1500. It's like after the last gen LS engine they stopped making them for gmc. But I've seen videos of people putting a kit on their 2017 gmc and Silverado. Do you know which part number I need?
Sounds like there’s a catalytic converter or a cherry bomb. Those would restrict any flames from the engine getting much further from the manifold. Also I’d recommend trying 4500rpms. No higher than 5k but I’d slowly work my way down from there
Having trouble with mine it wont release when i let off the brake pedal white blue wire to blue wire to on off switch to brake pedal got good voltage at end of blue wire when pressing brake pedal goes to no volts when i release the pedal
Ram mine to a ground right in the engine bay? Should’ve came with everything u need if you have it less then your factory limiter tho it’s gonna slap limiter between shifts if you floor it
The 2step would prevent the burnout, im pretty sure, due to lack of power since the unburnt fuel is lost potential energy. You could run that blue signal wire through a toggle switch so you can choose when to have 2 step or when to roast the tires though.
Black Widow Cam, Frankenstein Heads, FAST LSX-R (w/80lbs injectors), Stainless Works Long Tube Headers, and a Tune. Then you 2 step it after all that and it'll flame grill your next bbq for ya. 😉
@@chrisbarragan3159 That really depends on what your budget looks like. Could mean getting a set of 243 heads ported & polished with a nice set of valves, 1:7 rockers, and honeycomb springs. Or you could get a set of Trick Flow if you have a little more to spend. Going to Texas Speed and talking to those guys for your exact needs/wants is a great place to start bud. Those guys know how to make American horsepower.
