MSFS 2020 A320 - SimBrief Flight Planning & Understanding the OFP | Tutorial Series Part 2

This is the second in a new series of tutorial videos looking at the A320 in MSFS 2020. Each of these tutorials is designed and based on real world procedures used by A320 pilots around the globe to make your flight simulator experiences as realistic as possible.
Episode 2 looks at creating a realistic Operational Flight Plan (OFP) using SimBrief (www.simbrief.com). This is an amazing free online tool that delivers realistic flight plan information and looks exactly like the OFP's used by pilots all over the world. Of course, for this tutorial, we are using the Easyjet OFP layout. Once you have created a free SimBrief account, to add the A320NX aircraft profile to your SimBrief fleet, please click the (very) long link at the bottom of this description. This will ensure that all your weights and balances match up with the A320 aircraft used in MSFS 2020.
Please note that at the time of filming, not all cockpit functions are available in MSFS 2020.

As a newbie to the A32NX in FS2020 I have watched many tutorials on Simbrief and the MCDU and most of them have gone over my head. Your tutorial on Simbrief is the first that has explained it in a way that I can understand going through each item as it does. Thanks for taking the time to do this and I can now move on to tutorial 3 which I am sure will be as helpful with the enigma that is the MCDU.

I have been using Simbrief for years and never really went past ZFW, Bulk Fuel and reserve and f course the flight plan itself. I have watched other videos but yours taught me the most and was way easier to understand or at least gave me a better perspective as to what some of the things meant. I us LIDO mostly but seeing it taught with EZYJET format is very similar to Delta which is my go to company. You have helped me better understand things so I can use the proper format for DVA. Thank You!

I think Simbrief might have fixed the Manchester departure issue because I've been using Manchester as my home base for a couple of months and it's almost always given me a 23R departure and if not that then 05L. So far, I've never been given a 23L departure from Simbrief for Manchester.

What l have to do for my flightplan that l get it into the MCDU. I putted my simbrief account name in MCDU and generated the flightplan but how can l get the plan into MCDU? :)

The date can be any date and time you wish. Real or in the past /future.

If you created your flight plan today, they of course the weather shall be different, meaning the runways in use, flight level, trip wind etc are all different. Please see my latest tutorial series for understanding the OFP if you get stuck.
