SimBrief Tutorial - MSFS2020 (creating an A320 flight plan) 

Hello. Just one little thing. If you want to start "cold and dark" at a gate or a ramp, you can change departure runway to that, using the scroll down list under runways. In this tutorial you will end up ready for take at or on the runway with everything configured, and engines running. Just a little tip. :-) The tutorial is absolutely great.

Thanks for all the work, mate... very much appreciated. As a long-time FSX and ifly user I find it stressful enough with FS2020 not to have the B737 (one flys blindfolded) but have to switch to the A320... but hey, who said "Life has to be fair!"? ;-)

Really thorough - I have struggled with how to actually get the flight plan (WITH APPROCH !) into MSFS - and then I realized you can do it with the World Map ! but now Sim Brief adds another cool layer. But what about importing to the MCDU ? Is that any better ? Or just for Xplane ? I added my SIM BRIEF ID to it - I see my ID on the MCDU under options AOC ...is that any better ? Thanks so much

Thank you for all your amazing pilot tutorials and flights. Could I please ask about the weights? I am using MSFS 2020 on Xbox Series X and weights are in LBS, not KGS. Do I just use a conversion calculator to convert into LBS from KGS to make sure I don't mess up my flight planning?

Thanks for posting, really helpful, just a little confused why in flight info you put airline as U2 and flight number 6960 is a real flight from radar 24 but can you just make that number up if you're not following a real flight?

Hi I just noticed than when changing start for example from the gate or approach then the whole flight plan changes. Why is that? You can also see it in this video. When you clicked different approach the flight plan was changed.

Every thing is excellent... but I can't see where your EJ aircraft type link is

Simbrief tells me that I don't have enough fuel to fly a 737-800 more than 1000 miles. When I make a flight plan I always run out of fuel after taking the block fuel plus extra.

so do you have to set "live weather" in msfs so that the simbrief wx data corresponds to what you see ? And set correct date / time too?

Question please, when loading this into msfs2020, it wont let you choose a gate as your starting point, it always starts you on the runway.

So, I've been using Sim Brief since watching this video and improving. Thanks. But I have a question. Many times the designated SID and STAR in SimBrief does not exist in FS2020. It just load as "direct" and I manually find a suitable one within the simulator. Often simsbrief's SID and STARS differ like, one character from the simulator's. For example: simbrif give KIAK4D and the simulator has something like KIAT6D (fictional just for example). There were a couple times that not even a similar name of SID or STAR existed. My question is: are there more SIDs and STARS than the ones in FS2020 lists? We get a real flight plan but always have to tweak inside the game? Not that it's a problem, but is so fucking annoying having to cycle those lists inside the game to find the proper SID, when not automatically loaded by simsbrief's .pln

half way through video before we see it. simbrief, good program IF your lucky enough to have the money to pay navigraph. Not a lot of use without forking out money.

Very nice Lady vermy much knowledge. Only big Problem I have with you is your speed you talk made only for advanced airman/woman. All those who wants to learn from you will fail because of your unclear speech to declare all about very and too quick. Would be nice to let also learn the beginners the meaning of it in good didactical way. WE KNOW NOW THAT YOU KNOW ALL... remember some learners will learn an make a note of it but brake your speed and clear your voice for those who learn here from you. Same with other real flight pilots the speed is not for learners they got lost ! It my suggestion to you to spread your knowledge over all who interest about it not only real air pilot trainees who can this about costs never realize in life to fly real. Thanks very much Lady. I know you are good !! :)
