MSFS simskunkworks Fiat G91 ,a what if vid . If you can't get it to work remember these 2 tips: When starting the engine hit the "esc" and count 10 seconds , return by hitting "esc" again and the engine powers up , try again if it doesnt work the first time. When taking off, be VERY generous with the pitch up trim before you start and dont forget the flaps (even though it can take off just fine if you trim it enough). Yes this is live weather! the livery is here: el.flightsim.t...

In brief, the Hellenic Air Force has fought in a number of wars its moment of glory being (depending on how one looks at it) WWII. Firstly against Regia Aeronautica and after early April 41, the Lutfwaffe. Noteworty aircraft being then PZL 24 (36 in number), Bloch MB 151 (about 9), a couple of (litterally) Gloser Gladiators and (my personal favorite) almost a doze of Fairey Battle B1. Understandaly, these were all gone by the battle of Crete. US assistance in the form of 36 Grumman Wildcats was stopped in the Suez canal upon collapse of the front and these were handed to the UK as Martlets MKI. Greek personnel who fled to the Middle Easte formed the 335 an 336 Royal Air Force squadrons starting with Hurricanes and then with Spitfires till the end of the war.

PS All Greek squadrons get their number from the first (335 and 336 FG -fighting Greeks) of the "foreing" RAF squadrons. The same is true of other allied personnel who kept fighting after their homeland's collapse like (correct me if I am wrong Holland and Belgium). I am not including the famous Polish squadron (303) because it was not allowed to return to Poland after the end of the war. Not aware of Polish Air Force squardon numbering at present.
