I got my eye on the rog x and the msi I sold my steam deck my thing is the surpport valve does it better then any company and have a cult following for even more help most likely ima buy the rog x in about 1 month but the steam oled make me wanna rethink everything I was told about other handhelds and that’s a good thing no longer can company’s in this genre rely on being mediocre
I wonder if it coil whines, 'cause everything I had from MSI, specially GPU, sounds like they're in pain. I don't even feel like gaming on my 4070 TI Ventus X3 anymore 'cause it's too annoying.
The MSi CLAW at 30W is significantly weaker than the Steam Deck/OLED at 15W and less AMD Master Race Maybe the Claw will be better some day, but it's rn it's just a rly bad device. Just another generic PC handheld I'll never own
25-30 fps? on HellDivers? The OLED Steamdeck is getting 35 pretty consistently for me. Sometimes it drops into the high 20s, but with CryoUtilities and a bump up of the VRAM to 4GB from 1GB ... 30-35fps sitting steady and less crashes on more memory intensive games. The Windows handhelds really need a new OS or something? A slimmed-down Windows would have the benefits of an Linux-based OS but with the added functionality of being windows possibly...
I mean, the potential is there, but we are from that seeing that reality. I’m also afraid that not many people bought this after all the reviews, so how much support will it really get?
I don’t know people complained when the rog Ally came out and after about half year later with updates people really loving it now so it most likely the same and the steam deck I have one and I find it to be overhyped so give if about the same time is will most likely get better
