I just picked up the $2200 model from Best Buy. It’s a great machine. You should do a review of this machine. I7, 32gb ram, 1tb nvme, 2070 super. I will try to limit the cpu to see if I get a gpu performance improvement.
I'm thinking of getting the new MSI GE66039 with RTX 3070 to be released in the coming days. I do some gaming but wanted to video edit. How do you feel it would do? All the specs seems to check out.
I have the ge66 and i feel the display will be better. Ge66 has a great display none the less. The build quality is questionable tbh because my unit has some panel gaps also the rgb bar is glossy so it scratches. The ge66 is also heavy by 100g.
The specifications on the msi sit show it has 4k uhd display option....but does it actually exist? can't seem to find it anywhere on amazon or best buy
hey i am planning to buy the dragonshield edition rtx 2060 i am bit worried about the power limit of rtx2060 is it a 80 watt and is there any solution to push it up to its imits
@@zzygyy I had a gaming laptop wtih a good 144hz panel, a 15 inch legion 5p, had it for a week before returning becausr of dead pixels... the display was awesome and the resolution was good for the size so I'm not going to wait and I'm actually going to buy a legion 5 again these next few weeks.... I've been waiting for them to release their ryzen powered legions but only now are they coming in my country... will get one witg the 4800h and 2060 and then enjoy the winter holidays playing cyberpunk
at 300hz, maybe not, especially modern aaa titles are so graphic intensive, and a 3080 in a laptop would have lower performance, I think that it's a good match.
Great point to point review 👍 What laptop i should buy for $2200-$2500 price range? Also when RTX 3xxx coming. Should I wait? My technical knowledge is not great and a quick question, I do use almost same games including apexlegends, Dota2, league of legends and some latest game. I also use the laptop for adobe cloud usage like photoshop, ljghroom and premiumpro . Thanks.
The only problem with MSI laptops is their poor chassis reliability. Reddit is literally full of people crying about their hinges and headphone port rims cracking or falling out!
I bought a Asus tuf laptop ryzen 5 a few days ago and while playing games like witcher3 the cpu temp go as high as 79℃ .....is it a issue or is it alright?......help me
I have had my GL75 95DK for a year now.I believe the unit reviewed here has the same keyboard as mine.I can live with the mediocre battery, but there are 3 major problems with the keyboard.First I have still never gotten used to the feel which causes errors.I can never "feel" where I am on the keys like with my 2011 Macbook and cheapo 2013 Samsung.Definitely slows me down. The keys tilt instead of moving up and down and makes me often tap the space bar without it responding.Second you can't dim the keyboard which is needed. Most keyboard light settings are a freaking unwanted light show.I like illuminated on the light green color, the only one that doesn't move around but is too bright sometimes with some uses like streaming videos..I usually turn the lit keyboard off.Thirdly, many of the letters look something like Russian and the @#$%^&*+ etc.are very very small. These things have slowed down my keyboarding noticably.Otherwise I like the 144 hertz screen and fast processing.MSI PLEASE CHANGE THIS KEYBOARD !!
I bought one last week 2 days ago I realized my camera didn’t work. Hardly ANYTHING online about a fix and FN+F4 doesn’t work. Updated driver for it, searched online for new driver for it and it’s just broken. Debating on returning it because I can only reset the PC so much and try various things before I throw this shit out the fucking window. Just be warned, it’s new, some shit might be fucked up.
ok the first thing you should do is press the FN key that is near CTRL leave the fn key pressed at the same time you press ESC this is the upper part of the left side after you do those steps a small white light will turn on after that This shown you go to the start button and look for the camera, you click on the camera after the application opens, it should work in case you open the camera and it still does not show you an image, you close the camera and simply press f4 and try to open the camera. again and it should work Sorry for my inglés I hope I can help you
@@Frankcg29 I appreciate you took the time to help me but I ended up fixing it some way by resetting to factory default 3x all a sudden the camera and dragon center began working. Haven’t reset since in fear of it doing it again lol but seriously thank you for replying and hopefully this helps anyone who comes to the same issue.
I have a gaming pc with 2080 super in it i am looking to buy this laptop for 2300€ with i9 and 2070 super should i do it or is it better to wait if the new rtx3000 series laptops launch in march or later then i need to get this also for college any idea or recommendation
@@alipacheco5877 well its saving me 700 € and i can still game on it with a 2060 and do my work and has a1.512 gb space can use that money for a rtx 3000 series card or a asus pg25 monitor of 360hz
Waste of cash with zen 3 lumming. Also, my oooooold ( which I sold on an app), GT80S had both usb c and was able although not in specs, thunderbolt 3. That machine MSI promised and did not keep, their promise to have GT80S upgradeable at least the GPU. They still did not learn some lessons. This one is no different as far as GT80S in being 1080p as well. Pass this one.
