A gaming laptop doesn't need to be T H I C C to be powerful as long as cooling can keep up

I have the GE66 Raider with 17-10750H with RTX 2070 Super Max-P from Best Buy. Here is my Fire Strike score no overclock. It is a much better buy if you can get one. I originally purchased the HP Omen 15 with Ryzen 7 4800 and GTX 1660ti because that was the best one they had in stock at the time. The HP Omen has a more powerful CPU but the GPU does not come close. The HP Omen is a good laptop, but I wanted gaming performance more than CPU compute performance. One week later, I got lucky that my Best Buy received 2 of these MSI laptops. I returned the HP Omen and purchased this. One day later they put the other on display. 3DMark Score 18857 Graphics Score 22275 Physics Score 17617 Combined Score 9221 Graphics Test 1 107.34 fps Graphics Test 2 88.23 fps Physics Test 55.93 fps Combined Test 42.89 fps

thanks for the video but you are filming over exposure you need to dim your lights or change aperture to be smaller

Wow, thanks for posting the monitor hardware ID. I will be taking my 240hz version back as the specs look atrocious compared to the AUO328E.

Finally, thank you. I was waiting for a review on this. Around what kind of performance loss do you believe there's with this laptop vs a Msi Titan (soldered 2070 Super max-p vs 2070 mxm)? Also is there much difference in thickness with your measurements? With the very different design i can't tell for sure...

I have the same laptop configured with an i7-10750 and the idle temps are mid 50s to mid high 60s. Is this normal or is it running hot. I ran cinebench r20 and noticed 2 cores were reaching mid-high 90s while the the rest of the cores were low 80s at the highest. should I be looking to get a replacement.

I am a little surprised that there is no cooling for the southern bridge at all.
