I would go with the gigabyte personally. It has better colors than these two with extra USB ports and the adjustable stand which the Samsung doesn’t have

PS4 won't output a refresh rate over 60hz, even if the monitor has the capability to. However, having a monitor with low display lag is absolutely needed and you'll notice a huge difference over a TV.

I would say look at this Sceptre monitor: amzn.to/3x81dN8 I did a review for this one the channel.

Here’s another one that’s cheaper I did a review on also: amzn.to/3LGjMMc The problem will be for a budget around 400 you end up close to really high end monitors but not quite there. If you plan on using the console on it don’t go with an ultrawide it doesn’t support the 21:9 aspect ratio.

All that depends on your budget. Check out the RCA I’ve reviewed on the channel or the Pixio. Those have been some of the best performing in this same price range.

Straight out the box I can’t even select the Image settings… is this because of a driver issue?

@@TridentNine Make sure you use in the USB. The drivers are preloaded in the monitor

Try dropping the fps to 120 and see what happens, might be because the 144 is the monitor over clocking which can cause flickering

What did you end up choosing monitor wise in the end?

@@obbz I still use the AG321CQR and I really like it. This next part will sound backwards thou. At home, I am now using 2 of LG's ultragear 32GN600 monitors. A localish walmart had them for under $250 so i grabbed 2. Yes I know it's much cheaper and is only a 1440p 165hz monitor, but I like the 2k ultra 120fps gaming scene. Turns out it was mispriced but I love them. My home setup is using a 6900 XT which plays well with the monitors. My work rig uses a 3070 which is great with the optix screen but had issues with the LG ultras I use at home. I didn't want to overspend on monitors, I'm well aware that my current setup is nit a fan favorite, but try it. I love it.

@@VRtheFuture Hello, which monitor do you recommend lg or msi ? I wonder MSI has 250 nits on paper but some msi monitor gets higher than 250 nits even if they have 250 nits on paper ? Can you compare those monitor ? which monitors brighter ?

@@eghosalanky2567 just checked them both out at a store. Colours seemed slightly better on Asus without tweaking on the demo display videos. But it was so dim compared to the MSI. Wish I could play with the settings. I think I'll get the MSI though.

@@1UpNerdcore yh I've found the msi Optix MAG321CURV which is 4k looks and performs great but its only 60hz but my graphics card plays 60fps on 4k anyway so should be fine for me,but is this monitor still good though?

You can’t remove it you can just change it to another preset in the settings

@@NoWhereGate no ps5 has now supported 1440p that's what makes the difference and if you're playing on a new console or pc I suggest you get the 1440p

I haven’t tried the TUF monitors with similar specs but I wouldn’t recommend this monitor over many others so TUF might be worth it

@@1UpNerdcore that kinda discredits the review, you’ve used monitors far outside of that price point, and i gotta say that would make you kinda biased, and that goes for all reviewers, if you use a $1000 dollar monitor daily, than switch to something at a different/far lower price point you’re going to see only the bad and imperfection, because you hold far higher expectations than a kid getting their first gaming monitor. You’ve had enough experience with different monitors to create your preferences and see the difference, which is completely different to someone possibly getting their first monitor and want a 32’. Even someone who is looking for an upgrade from their cheap old display. For example, a lot of reviewers i watched shit on the aoc 144hz 24’ monitor, i was afraid, but got it anyway, and it was absolutely amazing, and i still have it now, the same thing happened on my ultrawide, and both are the best purchases i’ve ever made. That’s why i say take some tech reviews with a grain of salt.

Ah yes, the buyer's placebo effect. It absolutely doesn't. Both HDMI and DP are digital signals, which means the quality of cable doesn't matter at all. Unless we're talking about standards, eg. upgrading a HDMI 1.0 cable to a 2.1 cable, then it does make a difference in the support of higher resolutions and refresh rates.

@@1UpNerdcore Well i was pretty lucky. There is no dead pixel. No light problem it is smooth black. Colors was pretty good for my taste. As for performance. i don't see any ghosting so far. And i set the light level to zero. And close the lights at night. Open a 4k test video. İt is looks like looking through a window to another world. 😇

@@entager Valla rekabetçi oyunları bilemem. Ne kadar bir bütçen var. Benim çok araştırdığım Gigabyte g32qc monitör var. En iyi monitörlerden biri. Bütçen yeter ise onu alabilirsiniz.

Nope not biased, it’s my opinion for sure and this is one of the rare instances I didn’t have a lot of good things to say about a monitor.

@@1UpNerdcore i think other wise . in the first minute of the video you are compareing it to a samsung g5 witch was a $600-$700 msrp and thats with the 27" the 32" and higher were more if i remember the msi model your reviewing basicly half the price and thats being fair, your review is bias dont compare a budget tier monitor for the size and specs to a double the priced G5 monitor ofcourse it wont be as good. seems to me your secretly in cahoots with other componys on the dl . and to me that is bias.thx btw i dont even have this monitor but i will buy it and i will be happy with it because well its not $700 Gs nor the smaller sceptre monitor you also recommended that also cost more

I adjust the exposure to match what I’m seeing with my eyes as closely as possible. If I made the video darker you wouldn’t see the stand or mold at all and people would complain about that. Nothing else has been done to the video so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
