Hi Ben, I've been feeling pretty down lately and need something to cheer me up so I have decided to buy either a Mont Moondance 2 or a Wilderness Equipment Space 2. Which do you think would provide the most enjoyment and help my situation?
Chin up, Josh, no doubt the purchase of a sweet new hiking tent is sure to cheer you up.🏕️😊🙌 You'd be happy with either of those tents, we don't sell either model at the moment but that is no reflection on the quality. Both the Space 2 and the Moondance tents have been a reliable choice for many years and are produced by Australian companies. Apart form the Space 2 tent coming in at a bee's whisker lighter, I'd probably base my choice on colour. Hope that helps. ~ Ben
We cover this in the video around the 2:14 mark @Clay L - consumption rate is around 227g/hr, so you can use that to work out roughly how long a given cannister will last. ~ Lauren
If the canister fits and it's from a reputable brand then the fuel inside should be fine. It's likely that it will be a different isobutane/propane mix ration, but the average user won't notice a difference unless they are in extreme cold or altitude. ~ Ben
You will often get a little bit of gas come out as you attach and remove the gas canister, Abbas, as long as the leak stops once the canister is either tightened or completely removed. ~ Ben
Hi, I unscrewed the top burner portion and see a small tube inside. How do I re-assemble, does the small tube need to fit over the metal tube inside, I presume that is the case. I was just playing with it and it was super easy to take off.
We don't have any of these in stock at the moment for me to triple check Adam S, but that honestly doesn't sound too good mate. Ive never heard of that happening before, and as far as I'm aware they're not supposed to be pulled apart. ~ Lauren
We don't have a specific date sorry, but it may be worth calling our customer service centre on 1300 914 007. I can't promise anything, but at the time of writing this reply it looks like we might have some in one of our stores that they may be able to transfer to our warehouse. ~ Ben
