If you listen, lot of old colloquial songs are with the same beat only during G Ramanathan period. That means every song is lifted from every body’s thought. If compare please compare the old song. Donot confuse yourself and confuse others. Of course MSV always comes as #1 though strong basement. Ilayaraja raised high raise building on the strong basement for Tamil cinema. Afterwards, they huge building started getting demolished in the name of new pattern starting g from AR Rahman until now either other musicians
In IT company i have interviewed by senior fellow after the interview they said will get back to you. And that senior fellow you can ask if you have any query. I have asked some questions which is relevant to the company's improvement. After two days HR called from that company and i got posted as software engineer. Nowadays full of young and energetic fellows who has much technology knowledge but not able to assess the person is capable or not. A senior man also should sit with them for assessing the person's ability. This is not happening nowadays. Young peoples knowledge only on some part but it can't give much effort and effective growth

Modern Theaters Boss, T.R.Sunderam usually got his music directors to do this.Famous music composer of the 50s and 60s, Mr.Veda, just did that for many Modern Theatres a lot.
Modern Theatres' T.R.Sundaram and G.Ramanathan used Pattukkotai Kalyanasundaram for many songs in the Modern Theatres production, Gemini Ganesan starrer Film " Maheswari" released in 1955 already noted the talent of Pattukkotai Kalyanasundaram one year before the film "Paasavalai" was released which was also produced by Modern Theatres. In 1956, this great poet was booked by several other music composers.I wonder why M.S.Viswanathan was trying to take credir for the introduction.
He never told anywhere he identified someone named pattukottai, When he was composing some official from the Modern theaters introduced him to the Great MSV, this is what he is saying, he never told he gave break or he introduced PKS.
மேலும் மகேஸ்வரி தோல்விப்படம். பாட்டும் பிரபலமாகவில்லை. பொதுவாக யாரும் வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்க தயங்குவார்கள். இதே போல்தான், PBS அவர்கள் மாயமணி படம் முதல் எத்தனையோ சிறந்த பாடல்கள் பாடியப்போதும், காலங்களில் அவள் வசந்தம் பாடல்தான் PBS ஐ லைம் லைட்டுக்கு கொண்டுவந்தது ( ரெண்டுமே MSV- TKR).

Maruthakasi, Kannadasan and Kalyanasunderam were self-educated scholars in Tamil. Not Viswanathan!!!, but he talks as if he could judge the merits of these scholars.All three poets were brilliant in their works
Totally wrong perceptuon about msv. He got his tamizh knowledge from udumalai narayana kavi, k.p.kamatchi and others on the lyric side much before kannadasan, pattukottai and on the tamizh musical grammar from papanasam sivan.

M.S.Viswanatha is a good story teller.But very rarely he credits T.K.Ramamoorthy whom he called his Guru in the early 50s.It was known that T.K.Ramamoorthy, whom he also called 'Anna' was supervising viswanathan's compositions, but most compositions came from the violin of Ramamoorthy.Viswanathan was given the task of backgound music.

@@SenthilKumar-hh3hl viswanadhan is a genius and no comparison to him. But TKR's individual compositions cannot be degraded. The best examples are: வசந்த காலம் வருமோ, கண்ணணிடம் கேட்டிருந்தேன், நான், மூன்றெழுத்து, குமரிப்பெண் பட பாடல்கள். I agree he was taken to drinks and spoiled himself. Kumaripenn music was composed by MSV.not Ramamurthy.Though both of them composed together and produced several hits, MSV alone stood in the field when both came out separately.
