Mt Shasta Ski Park - Gray Butte | California's Newest Skiing Terrain | 20+ Years in the Making 

Great,a ski park in the middle of alien central. Weird things happen on your mountain 🏔️

Last year when skiing at the the Ski Park, I was so excited to ski the Gray Butte lift. Then, and only then did I find out what a royal pain in the ass it was to access the lift, and then get back to the existing ski area. Who's idea was it to have such a nice addition to the park, and yet have it be so difficult to get to and from. Something's gotta be done to address this.

Just heard about your plan for the statue. I say go for it, even though I’m not of the same belief regarding the statue, I applaud your decision and support your right to make it.

A nice addition to the overall experience. I am an ex excavator and think that grades were not really looked because there is no easy way to get to the new lift other than taking off skis and walking. And then a literal climb at the last remaining feet to get to the lift. How about carving some intermediate experience path from Coyote...

I came back as a season pass holder this year, first time skiing this lift and a few trails and wow what a disappointment. An amazing chairlift but accessing and getting to the lift to be met with quite frankly very terribly laid out ski runs, I will tell you, I will likely never venture to this lift. It was near dead the other day while the rest of the mountain had decent traffic. You will need to somehow fix the insanity of where you placed the bottom of the lift, being able to even ski back out and the sad uneven ski run terrain. Get a dozer up there in the summer and significantly improve those runs and make a trail down from coyote people can at least get to. This should be obvious after two years. Shocked its still this way.
