A long ways from any development or roads, Mount Skook Jim in The Stein/Nlaka'pamux Heritage Park is a 2606m peak that has captivating scenery. A large, turquoise, glacial lake sits under its eastern flanks fed by a towering double waterfall, and the view nearly blew my socks off. We hiked in from the Lizzie side and Lillooet Lake, south of Pemberton BC, for a 3 night/4 day endeavour also tagging Tabletop and Anemone peaks on the way. This rugged area is stunning and I wish I could have spent more time here as the mountains seem limitless (as do the mosquitoes). Thanks for watching!

@@stuartb9194 I run hot, so the bugs have to be extreme for me to tolerate pants. Most of the time, the bugs are focused on my upper body… My legs must not taste as good… 😂 Thanks for watching!

That was awesome! Such beauty out there😍 How heavy were your packs for that trip? OMG! The flies looked awful😮 You have fantastic drone work and the drone views are great 😃 That lake definitely looked like an arrowhead. I guess the person that named it saw it from up the mountain too. While watching this, I thought, Luke should do a hike with Foresty Forest. Have you ever thought of doing a collab with him? Great video and the three of you were awesome 😁 Thanks for bringing us on the trip with you😊
@lifeofluke
@lifeofluke 11 месяцев назад
Thanks Ages! The packs were pretty heavy, not much we could do about that when out for 4 days. The flies and mosquitoes were nuts, makes a bug net almost mandatory. On that note, I have tried to meet up with him, we texted, planned a meeting, I drove all the way to Golden, and he changed his plans and headed elsewhere, so it wasn't due to my lack of effort.

@@lifeofluke that's too bad you weren't able to connect with him☹️ That's a long drive to Golden. Is that why you did the Blaeberry River rafting? You made something out of the trip?
