Interestingly the strongest military in the technocratic union is the Void Engineers with their starships(Void Ships), killer satellites, rapid reaction space marines. Umbral space is ringed with Void Engineer battle station and kill sattelites preventing the bigger umbral horrors from breaking thru. Also not only do they explore space, umbra, earth , they also explore the netherworld(wraith) and alternate dimensions

The technocractic union is the strongest mage organizationn and probably the strongest supernatural organization out there. They police the shadows of the world. and are very formidable. and their tech is hundreds of years ahead of humanity, its practically hypertech.

Its said the Syndicate is the most powerful Technocratic faction, since it controls the economy of the technocracy and in large part the world economy. They have influence in most world corporations and provide funding for technocratic research , experiment, operations etc. However they have a very bad secret, their relationship with Pentex, one of the few corporations in the world where they dont have influence. Syndicate also have strong influence in world criminal organizations.

There is technocrat on the pentex board. They do have some influence, just not as much as theyd like

@@crim1188 in the syndicate book Pentex actually purged itself of technocratic influence in fact when the Syndicate sent in their agents into the pentex main offices they came back in pieces. The Special projects division is no more , however Pentex still sends dividends to teh syndicate. so go figure

Are they the big bad of Mage? Kinda. Their goals, while noble in some regards, have deviated immensely from their original goals.

@@wolfsbanealphas617 If I remember correctly, the Inquisition is aware of the existence of both Mages, The Technocracy, and so on with varying levels of information. The Inquisition feels it's in their best interests to leave them be since they have no effective way of dealing with them. Surprisingly, the Council of the Nine Traditions and the Arcanum get along smoothly to some extent.

@@nalrashidowhat is the Inquisition really able to do when one mage or technocrat can turn your rear into a duck? Never know who is and who isn’t a reality deviant and besides, they tend to keep worse stuff out.
