MTD Yard Machine Recoil Replacement 

Thank you so much! I have a craftsman M110 and the pull cord broke. I ordered the new assembly and replaced it by watching your video. You are the only person who showed how to get the old assembly out easily and how to put the safety cover tabs in. So helpful for a not-so-strong 62 yr old lady. Lol. My mower had the right kind of cup already, thank goodness because i would have never gotten it off by myself. Thank you so much for your clear and helpful information!!! Great video !

Thank you Mr Burbon, you were a big help, that ring had me stumped too. For this old gal, I would up setting the cover upside down in a old pot and my daughter helped me push the new center piece straight down into cover. Thanks again! And Best Wishes to Humanity!

Awesome, you are the only person that I could find how to replace that plastic assembly. I saw others who just complaint and talk around but no one manage to teach about changing that assembly. Thank you.

Thanks for those part numbers, it took two RU-vid videos to find the information I needed after an hour on the manufacturer websites (both MTL and B&S) with no remedy.

Thanks for your video. I am very mechanically inclined, but that plastic ring had me baffled. I think partially, because it looks like one that I have does not have the indentation as shown. I will try and see if I can install it under the clip. (Edit, I was able to install the ring as shown. There is a slight indentation on the assembly.) Thanks for the info on the adapter. That is very helpful, as you mentioned, no one shows to order the additional part. Thanks again.

Unplug the spark plug and grab the blade and use the socket. No need for air lol
