Opponents sit there watching a steamroller coming at them at 2mph and cant run away.

Each time I run into a seemingly janky but then surprisingly coherent deck I've never seen before on Arena, I go and check RU-vid for new Legend uploads. And every freaking time, there it is. Doing god's work by keeping the play queue fresh and exciting, thanks a lot!

Arena's time out system doesn't give you enough time to think through a deck like this.

I imagined playing this deck in paper and keeping track of everything made my brain explode a bit. A ton of fun :D

Why does the timer run down when you are WAITING for an animation to play out / things to appear on your screen. Really stupid.

Just a reminder for everyone that you can use the space bar to hit ‘Resolve’ so you don’t need to move your mouse around the screen as much.

Hey, I was the one playing your menace list! (How do people check oppo's name at the beginning of the game? I realized too late to say hello T_T) The turn I pyrohelixed face, I was trying to not get blown out by flame sweep and I thought I could grow Knight by having dealt 4 damage when you had no mana for it... Missed that it had to be dealt by the beginning of the end step, oops. I lost with 4 Tentative Connections at hand and now I see you actually called it! Sweet deck as always, GG!

Knew this would be a spicy brew. Mythos of Iluna has so many interesting applications. I like the direction you went, always fun watching a TYS deck go off!

Unsummon -> Karametra's Blessing -> Expansion . That is a combo I had no idea you could do. Essentially putting Unsummon on top of Karametra's Blessing again. So it resolves before Blessing. Wow! :)

A very interesting, but an expensive deck. Thank you for all explanations! There are many adventures in your deck, so I think you could play lucky clover and giants instead of shocks and some ramp. At this point you lose some ramp, gaining stability. Just clover seems to be really strong: it is very cheap and it does cost a card

9:27 you have lethal with Opt, Mythos copying Storm (twice), Acolyte (7x) making 7 mana, Mythos (10x), Shock (1+13x4=43 instances) for 86 damage.

Galaktoboureko (the first opponent's name) is delicious dessert made with custard and filo. Had a good laugh seeing that one.

I love that in the first game LVD patiently scried to the bottom with each opt copy even if the plan was to use shock anyway

Interesting, fun deck! I LOVE thousand year storm, but haven't been able to put it to much use lately with it's high casting cost. Unfortunately, after playing 20 games with this deck, I only won 2, and both were concedes before I could get TYS to go off like you did in the video. My TYS either got countered, bounced, or destroyed almost every time I was able to get it out, and by then, I was mostly dead anyway. Teferi and Narset combos absolutely buried me. Just a tough time for that card in the era of super-aggro decks.

Mythos of Illuna is such a fun card. I'd like to see your take on the Mirari Conjecture/Mythos of Illuna loop. I use it in a temur rec build and its pretty good control to keep recurring counters and root snares every turn.

Thousand Year storm has and always will be one of my favorite cards ever. The card really misses Pirate's Pillage but awesome to see it can still work

Never saw Mythos of Illuna hit so hard I love it. This temur deck > temur rec any day

There's also a trick you can use with this deck. Once you have enough, and also a fallback if the opponent removes TYS. Get the Beanstalk Giant on the field (you can Adventure it first if needed, and if you managed to do so before TYS was removed, great) Copy it using Mythos of Illuma. You now have a beatstick that grows the more lands you play. Use Red + Green to pay the cost on the Mythos and the copy attacks a creature (including Flying) on entering the field. But here's where the clever bit comes in. Clone the TOKEN using another copy of Mythos, and again, pay Red + Green. Since the token you're cloning already has an EOTB effect due to it originally being paid for using Red + Green, and you're paying Red + Green again, the new token ADDS another EOTB effect, meaning the second token can attack TWO creatures on entering the field. Since Beanstalk Giant can grow pretty fast pretty quickly, you can wipe the opponent's board of creatures without even entering combat. You can do this repeatedly, each time, increasing the number of monsters a clone can attack.

This deck rocks LVD. I really miss you brewing in the eternal formats. You have a gift. Wish you would fire up the old MTGO. Hey they have upgraded it with intro music :)

This easily ranks as one of the spiciest memes I've seen since Ugandan Knuckles, and that's saying something.

I play a similar deck with Genesis and mythos, ended up with 23 1000 year storm- after my fourth spell, I shocked my opponent from 56 life to -1 and still had about 20+ triggers on the stack from all the copies...

I love this deck.

They need to fix the timer for certain cards. Like timing out during really anything with enchantments on the stack are terrible and never pause the timer while your doing things. In person you can easily do things way quicker but things like Titans' Nest is almost impossible to play around with. They need to play with cards on Arena and decide that a lot of cards are terrible on Arena and fix them.

That's why its called thousand year storm, because it takes 1000 years to use!

You can copy lands with the mythos and the lands will come into play untapped, so when you did shock, rosethorn's ritual, beanstalk's mana search, mythos, it could have been mana-neutral. Might have been a less risky play when you were on the cusp of death because you'd have plenty of mana left to cast whatever you drew with opt.

@28:10 "could Unsummon Acolyte to generate more mana..." I don't see how that would work without a green source to then cast the Seasonal Ritual?

the huge stack of fertile footsteps triggers with no lands to search is pretty unfortunate. If it's large enough you might just time out before the stack finishes. How does MTGO handle this? Is there any option to decline all triggers?

Would it be worth it to actually copy some times Thousand years storm and some times some lands when you're going off with Mythos? It seems overkill to have like 7 enchants with only one mana left while opting for a precise card. (Though it works I guess x') )

Is there a way you can edit out the unnecessary waiting while all the triggers resolve? I understand the importance of you speaking your mind on what you'll do next while this happens. When nothing else is happening though, it is not essential.

Why play Mythos of Iluna instead of Mirrormade in that deck ? The creature synergy of Mythos is not really useful here ?

This deck is really cool but it just takes too long for everything to resolve

They should really add a "decline all" or a "target this with everything" option. So the opponent doesn't have to watch you go *clickclickclickclickclickclickclick* and to spare your fingers

Arena's timer needs a rework badly. It should definitely not be ticking down every time animations and when 15 triggers suddenly appear.

Honestly dont enjoy games when someone doesnt let his/her oponent play, like waiting for 10 minutes for this combo to resolve was very boring.
