Leave No trace. Best enchantment removal in white. Target a multicolored enchantment and destroy it and everything that shares a color with it out at instant speed for 2 mana. Stops a lot of stax pieces.

You know what I'm going to say... What an awesome deck!! Love it!! 👼 Looks like a best of the best for angels. I think I would consider Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx over the Path though... You know your meta is going to switch to snow covered basics also right?? Can't see myself ever playing the Lightmine Field... Deck name is perfect, but now that tune is stuck looping in my head 🤣

Thank you so much! I appreciate it, and I knew you'd enjoy it. I would ABSOLUTELY include Nykthos if there was an available copy. It was very surprising to me that it was not included in Commander Masters. There's definitely the threat of my playgroup's lands becoming....snowy. I'll have to keep an eye on that. I felt that way too about Lightmine Field for a long, long time. Then I finally forced myself to put it in a deck, and it works wonders with this Angel build. Oh, and that song....THAT SONG....long-time L7 fan, and that is one of the catchiest songs ever. It's only a matter of time until it floats around your subconscious and/or you begin creating your own lyrics for the tune. Be careful haha!

This deck seems good, but that average CMC is so high. In the pod i play in this deck would get smoked because its waaay to slow. Also, just curious but if life gain is a sub theme why didnt you put archangel of thune in the deck?

The average CMC is eschewed due to the number of high-costed Angels in the deck. Remember, Giada comes down on turn one or two and acts as mana ramp for our Angels, getting them into play ahead of curve. There is also a high percentage of low-costed ramp, a higher-than-expected amount of card-draw for a mono-white build, which allows us to never miss a land drop, and a slew of impactful interaction spells to stall the board if needed as we get our Angels onto the battlefield. I have not had any trouble keeping pace at the table with this Giada build. As for the oh-so-powerful and synergistic Archangel of Thune, her absence is easy to explain: I just need a copy of her to become available. She's creeping near the $30 mark and was last reprinted in OG Double Masters, which was over three years ago. Once a copy becomes available, she is a slam-dunk inclusion into this build!
