You rock dude, love your channel. Been having big issues trying to rebuild my mono-green now that the dinos are gone, and the meta is very control based so hydra-centric deck didn’t work out so well either for me. This deck is a good way to go.

I've been playing mono-green since M2020 came out (because Season of Growth is really strong), so I was really stoked for all the new goodies in Eldaine. Since rotation I've been playing a package based around Wilderness Reclamation and the 3-drop Vivien (using all that extra mana on Wildborn Preserver).

I tried a variation of your Mardu Knights deck for the 12-win challenge on Arena and both decks that ended my run early were mono green stompy.

Here's to hoping Dev feels like dropping an Izzet draw-two list, I'm fairly curious to how'd he choose to make it.

Green stompy is one of my fav decks...when it works it works. And with all the good cards green has its hard to keep it at 60. I like a lot of your picks but had to change a few due to price/availability.

I am planning on building Mono Green Stompy by abusing +1/+1 counters and proliferate. So far, the deck is beautiful, and I hope I can complete it!

Btw one of the things I had not realized about questing beast is that it can hit through protection from green. RIP gods willing and...uhh, I guess that beetle no one runs.

I´ve been playing this deck too, endend up with 3 copies of Greath Henge and played 4 copies of growth chamber guardian, makes for some really crazy sequences up in the late game. Also playing Blast Zone in the lands, needed some kind of board wipe, has one me more games than one would think actually. Also, ugin, not sure of how many ugins I should play, but in my testing, it is essential to at least play a couple of them, it´s a needed creature factory against the control match up, and a targeted removal, which is really rare in this deck. Also, feel like rhonas could very well be in the main deck, it´s a really crazy card, wins out of nowhere or at least gives you the edge against a creature base deck. Finally, I personally didn´t end up in nissa, I was actually the exact opposite of you, started playing her, but ended up getting her out of the deck, I felt that I wanted to put more pressure on turn five. Nonetheless, there are some real interesting taked in this version of the deck that I will consider trying on the deck. Great video Dev, hoping to see some gameplay on this deck too.

Thanks for not selling us the fast version. I was a fan of it for its explosive Tyr/Giant Growth starts, but it's just sooooo bad against Golos builds. I like this build, but yeah, Golos. If we don't have to worry about endless 2/2s at some point, I think this deck gets a lot better. It also sets up pretty well for having green mana pips after the next set releases.

It might be a tad greedy but I think that a single copy of mobilized district could be pretty neat and more useful in place of the gingerbread cabin. Questing beast, vivian, yorvo, and nissa are all legendary and lower moblized district's activation cost, and putting three +1+1 counters on mobilized district means you can turn it into a pretty spooky 6/6 vigilance/haste creature at will.

Maybe I’m biased but I feel like beast whisperer is an important key to this deck! I personally run 4X just because card draw/advantage is what wins games more than most when you’re in a sticky situation! Just my biased very very biased opinion! Other than that great great build you have here! I’m definitely stealing a couple tools you use!

Definitely wanna try this deck out. Any MtG player that says they aren't a Timmy deep down somewhere is a liar. Just curious as to why you're playing a full 4 copies of Questing Beast, seeing that it's legendary? I feel like dropping one copy and playing one more Great Henge is better, although I'm not completely sure. Oh btw, Great Henge is INCREDIBLE with Growth-Chamber Guardian, maybe wanna try that out!

Did you ever try evolution safe? There seem to be lots of counters in the deck.

Have you thought of a proliferate shell? A lot of the creatures etbs with counters even without the henge in play

I played a 16/16 Stonecoil Serpent with Nissa out and a couple mana dorks on turn 7 and my opponent scooped immediately.

Dude! I was having the same issues you were when making my green stompy. Just wasn't consistent, late game draws sucked and a lot of large creature that you really want to add.

I experminted with green and gruul since rotation and i have to say that mono green without card draw are very fragile. As silly as it sounds beast whisperer is hot again. He takes the 4 mana slot but he survives ritual of soot, which again is one of the most annoying countercards for this deck. I highly suggest wicked wolf + goose tokens to counter sweepers, which you will see in competitive play atm. Like nothing else. Grixis fores jeskai fires etc. Need you to have answers to time wipe etc. Indestructible is very much needed. The fires matchup is actually very funny 8f you find a way to make their limitation of casting spells per turn their demise. And thats why henge is very powerful.... or splashing blue für counters.

This deck needs more cowbell... I meant more THE GREAT HENGE! I would trade at least one or two planeswalker for extras of this. Especially in a stompy deck with loads of big creatures. This card does everything you want: it ramps you, gives you life, make your creatures bigger and draw you cards. What more can you want??? I almost never loose a game when I have one in play.

totally agree with Love beast and Wildwood tracker not belong here, disagree u need Nissa (5 turn 3/3 haste with empty hand and hope for top deck) over Return of the Wildspeaker or God-Eternal Rhonas. Also both hydras is weak without Nissa, so you forced to choose - better and faster wins with mass pump or expect opponent have no single target/mass removal not based on creature hp or bounce for your 20/21 trample and you close game. Problematic ONLY for monored to deal with, mby Oko steal proof, but thats it, rest decks just prepared.
