does anyone else has problems watching this video? even on the lowest quality it quits preloading.... any other video loads just fine... I WANT TO SEE THIS!!! Innistrad is awesome!
I could imagine a Metroidvania-esque game entirely set in Innistrad. I mean, the lore is só flavourful that wizards could easily transport it to other media!
All this talk of vampires on Innistrad is making me want more lore on the vampires on Zendikarr. Maybe now that BFZ is out there could be more details (and more vids) on them :)
+Ardite140 Drana seems to be a rather powerful and significant vampire progenitor. We'll have to see what happens with her. Part of me hopes that they pull a Narset and make a plainswalker of her, so we have two vampire lord plainswalkers.
Innistrad is by far my favourite Plane in MTG so far. I want to make a mono-white deck based on Thraben's humans and Angels and then a mono black vampire deck. Eventually...

Hi, again. Great video. When ever you do these kinds of videos, I'm always afraid you're just going to regurgitate what you find on line or from the canonized text of the official mtg website. I should learn by now that this is not the case. You seem to do good research, write great responses based on your work, and not only reflect what you're presenting, but also make the work your own. Thank you for your videos and I look forward to new ones.
I have to ask, but where did you get the pronunciation for "Stensia" as 'Stez-nee-ah'? Is that how it's officially pronounced or natively spoken (in whatever European language the name was derived from)?
holyordersol Our dear host often messes up on pronunciations. Just look for the correct one on official websites and wiki pages. Our host's research skills are superb though.
No mention of the angels who protect each province seiben ? Lol but that aside it was an awesome and unique bit of lore something to really sink your teeth into lol ok Terrible pun xD
Thanks to these vids I really wish I got back into MTG when Innistrad was out. Oh well I will have to settle with my two Ulamogs, the ceaseless hunger I pulled from Pre release. Cthulhu is rising. Long live Eldrazi.

+Nicholas DiMauro I tried to run my red/black vamps at my lgs, but it got stomped on BAD by removal. Not even my shadow alley denizens and other fairly basic 1-drops could stay on the field without being removed, let alone Bloodline Keeper, my one copy of Mirri, the cursed, and nighthawk. That said, I was playing against splinter twin, eternal witness/kitchen finks/collected company the deck and venser/eternal witness/other combo stuff the deck, so they managed to keep popping paths or counters constantly. I love that deck for non-tournament play, since it's much more powerful than most casual decks, (even the best of them) but it just can't quite make it into modern for me for some stupid reason.
Drana is out there, but who knows if she'll fit into the mold. Perhaps for the +1/+1 variant of vampires, she'll be very powerful, but for my style, which doesn't rely on counters at all--rather just straight up murdering your face--she's not really useful.
