Suicide Zoo was played at an event by Brad Nelson, and it caught on for a short while. Waste Not Storm on the other hand, dafuq

Wow. This was one of the greates matches I have ever seen. Great decks. I love zoo, but that Waste Not Storm knocked it out of the water. Brilliant deck.

As a judge, I feel compelled to make this clarification for this video: DO NOT use multiple dice to determine random effects, like discarding random cards from your hand. Random effects, like Burning Inquiry, require all outcomes to be equally likely, and using multiple dice skews the result to the average value. For actually equal distributions, use a single die. Or www.random.org . Just had to say that because you used basically two six-sided dice to discard from a hand of 11 cards, which you can't do in sanctioned events.

I get why you cant in sanctioned play however assuming the cards are actually shuffled before you put them down ie no one cheated an knows the location of a given card which there would be little reason to do in casual play it has essentially the same effect not truly random selection but the cards being selected from are in a random order

Burn might win... Since your trying to lower your health to at least the 3-6 range, so some one will just cast two lightning bolts for us and ruin the Zoo's day...

Why didn't you play a ritual before casting inquiry? Then even if you didn't draw a land or he didn't discard a land, you could keep going.

What do you think about adding sphinx's tutelage to the deck with all that draw? Or is 3cmc too high on the curve?

+Porygonal It seems like that could make for a good alternate win condition, but the deck is really only splashing blue for Serum Visions to make the draws a bit more consistent, I could see the potential of that card, but maybe in a more blue heavy list.

Love your stuff guys, but I have one complaint that spans all your videos. SIDEBOARDS! haha. I'd love to build this storm deck or the recent modern goblins one, and i'd love your suggestions of how to construct sideboards for these. I understand why you may not use them, cause you know what you're up against, and i know i could just go look up similar deck's boards but I'd love your opinions too :D

+Connor Haley If we start doing deck techs in the future we might talk about potential inclusions, but as far as making sideboards for the games, we probably won't be doing that any time soon (Also cause we would have to buy a lot of the sideboard staples and really never get use out of them haha)

I thought of a landfall combo. Would it work? You play Urborg or something that makes basic land types and keep searching for fetches with fetches to give something like steppe Lynx lots of power.

You realize that throwing 2d6 isn't that random? the chances og getting 2 or 12 is very low compared to the middle numbers like 6,7.8 etc.

in all your games of storm I've noticed that you tend to forget the original storm card in the storm count, am i missing something or are you making a mistake?

The original storm card doesn't count. You cast it, then make X copies, where X is the Storm count (if I had 8 storm and cast Grapeshot, I would deal 9, not 10, for instance)

That 2 d6 die you used isnt truly even, it is more likely to roll a 6,7, or 8 than a 1,2,11 or 12

+Thomas Magnuson Hmm, yeah you are correct, more combinations for some numbers... It can't roll a 1 at all haha. But really for the purpose we were using it for, it didn't matter all that much, the hands were shuffled already anyways, the dice was just for an extra layer of randomness while choosing which cards to discard.
