i played infect decks once, then i lost all my friends because they didnt want to play with me.

Can't wait to try this out at my LGS. I added 4 Grafdigger's Cage to the sideboard to help deal with Dredge (which doubled the cost of the deck) but I think it will do very well without it. Thanks Moss Boss!

just built this deck and man it is amazing. One thing I noticed is that it is very helpfull to have spells that say this creature is unlockable I have been trying out defrent cards that do that and realised this deck is a monster thank you had boy mtg... please make more deck builds

I built a deck w/ 80% of this deck in 2011. Apostle's blessing and vines of Vastwood would have helped a ton as it's easy to get caught behind if you lose gas. Card draw from Sylvan Library, Rot Wolf, or Season of Growth is nice as well. Perhaps Throne of Geth or Contagion Engine if you're hankering for some proliferate. Dosan and/or Collector Ouphe types for some solid Hatebears.

@Bad Boy Gaming i know this was made for budget, but could I put 3 or 4 scute mob? It’s 1$ rare. I feel like it needs something for really late game. I had this deck go until turn 8 or 9 once, and i was completely hopeless. i will say i have had some sweet wins with this however. Thanks for the advice/video!

If I have an 2/2 card with infect and I make it get +1/+1 until the end of turn and the player cannot block it does it deal 2 poison counters?

Dude honestly I think you should be doing budget deck tech like once a week maybe even every 2 weeks! Standard budget decks (if there is such a thing) would help players like me out a lot that want to go to Friday night magic but are inexperienced deck builders! Smashed it out of the park as usual!!

Blossoming Defense is actually really good too. I have 3 infect variants. I love mono green. Yours is similar to mine but of course I use Sylvan Scrying, Nexus and Pendelhaven. Awesome video. I subbed to see more of your decks

I love infect. I got destroyed many times running my long game decks when one player was running infect. Now I love it and have a EDH deck centered around infect. Much fun.

Impressive. Went to my local comic shop and grabbed some of these cards. Lost the first round as card draw was terrible, but won on 2nd turn a few times in a row. Great video/channel.

You...you literally just created modern Infect, only jankier. I tried to make a deck like this with only one creature as a playset and a janky t2 win condition. Let me tell you you're statistically not likely to get yourself a Glistener Elf in opening hand. You only have about an 80% chance of getting him in your opening hand after you Mulligan down to 1 card. Thats 20% of the time you can't get him out. Then you have no spells in your hand. Thats why modern infect runs some blue for Blighted Agent for its unblockable goodness. More creatures in deck equals more chance of getting creature to play, increasing chance of getting at least one creature to around 95% or so. Also (NOT BUDGET) Inkmoth Nexus comes in too. Another infect creature. Also Viridian Corrupter is also a good addition if you need to get rid of artifacts for your meta. To account for this, add any g/u 7-8 dual lands, for example Yavimaya Coast, or maybe Thornwood falls, preferably including (NOT BUDGET) Fetchlands too for deck thinning, and 1 island in replacement of 9 forests. Also bring in Vines of Vastwood into main board. You cast that in response to any spot removal and it's basically a counterspell. It works absolute wonders, trust me. Keep that and Blossoming Defense in the mainboard because all good decks have main board removal and they're much more effective than Blessing.

Joey Moss (in my best Jewish accent)... Couldn't you play Rancor in the main phase of turn 2 as an answer to them having a blocker out there? It gives your elf trample on top of the other 2 pump spells you put on it. Then no matter what, SOME infect is getting through.... that all but guarantees a turn 3 win.... idk... just an observation...

I built this deck yesterday. At most one mulligan and always a 3 round game! Waiting for that round 2 but really awesome vid came out to $38 but only cause I wanted a couple of foils!

My friend Tyler hooked me up with a pretty good deck for modern. I gave him a staff of domination I landed in a kallidesh booster in return for all the help. It's a mono green stompie deck and I really like it, I put in money into the deck too... I really wanted to get the plainswalker experience so then I put a Nissa in there. This deck profile is awesome, if I didn't have a deck already I would be building this.

I added an upgrade. The Phyrexian Hydra - 7/7 infect. It really helps late game if removal steals all your gas.

that's pretty sick like this deck seems fun may build it I do like infect I have some of it in my commander deck just waiting on some cards and it should be done but great video love deck techs you should do a pol of what budget deck you do next may be do them once a month that would be cool

I used to run this deck, but splashing blue and adding blighted agent and distortion strikes with some dispells and spell pierces it is a lot more fun. If you keep it mono green, then become immense is great

This reminds me of when I played a standard tournament right after new phyxeria came out... I made a 5 color infect deck with no rare cards just for the heck of it... By my third match, the entire room was watching me to see what I was going to pull next... The only thing stopping me from doing better was not having the powerhouse rare cards to finish off the big money decks... It was a blast to watch someone with a big money deck panic over $10 worth of cards...

Trample is why bolt of lightning was the most sought after card when the dark came out

if its by turn 3 or turn 4 solemnity would just make this deck unplayable right? because the damage being done is in -1/-1 counters and players/creatures etc. cant have counters put on them, I dunno who would put solemnity in their main deck but this is a possibility right?
