Also if you do go darker again I definitely recommend filling your hair first with a medium warm brown demi before going in with your darker color so the dark color doesn’t take with a greenish cast or look hollow. You can apply the warm medium brown (wella makes a 5WG in their gloss and refresh line at sally beauty that would be perfect) on towel dried hair, let it sit 25 min, rinse, towel dry and apply your darker color right away. The 3n demi will look like a soft darkest brown, almost black. 10 volume will give you deposit with minimal lift. This will make your color last longer and have more richness and shine to it!
You can get that Mielle oil at most sally beauty locations too!! Make sure you give yourself a really good scalp massage when you apply the oil to your scalp, to maximize your benefits!

Been following you for a while now. I completely feel you when you don't wanna sacrifice time with family for money. I had to work a full time job in a office and go to beauty school at night. It was a year and half program. Can't lie, it was so hard. I had no life except school and work, I wouldn't see my family besides at night. All that being said, I made it through and I'm so glad I did it! I did quit my 9-5 and worked in a warehouse for a little just so I could go to school full time and get out quicker! Now I'm working full time in a salon and left that warehouse job. You're sacrifice to go to school will be worth it in the end. Also, I would just make my family come in at see me at school and give them services haha. That was a way for me to get that quality time in 🤍 You're doing AMAZING Julie 🤍

I have thick curly hair and I'm always looking for something to calm the frizz. So glad you and your mom are going on vacay, you'll have so much fun. Life is short, it's good to spend time with our moms. Mine has terrible back and hip pain so we don't travel together, but we live in Redondo Beach, CA, so we'll often sit on a bench and have a little picnic. I came down with Strep the day before I had a wedding on the 24th of June, and with it being that close I couldn’t cancel on the bride, so I just wore a mask, sanitized really well, didn’t touch my face the entire time, never took my mask off, and I wanted to die afterwards! But we got through it! Lol
OMG I can't even IMAGINE having to go through with a whole wedding in that state! Well I guess that makes every other wedding you do feel like a breeze! HAHA
Thank you so much! Yes the LA lash glue pods have works for their intended purpose. I wouldn’t use them for my own makeup kit though as I don’t know how they perform for applications but for touch up kits they’re perfect! It’s more of a security measure than anything :)

When you said "four out of five people are allowing me to film", do you have them sign something or just ask? I feel like a lot of women in their 40s and above will decline because they don't want to show their makeup free face. Then it is hard to build a portfolio of before and afters of natural/neutral makeup. You need the before to see the difference. Also, do you include eyebrow grooming (trimming, tweezing) or just taming and tinting? I feel like changing eyebrow shapes is a big deal.
Great question! I normally ask their verbal consent at the time, but I will also give the bride a heads up in advance :) Some people do not want to be on camera which is completely understandable. This is why a lot of the times you'll have to do model calls of some kind to get your content for your portfolio. I don't do any eyebrow grooming personally.
Haha I will say that is one part of my videos that I “fake” just to make it seem less boring. I only have one singular camera and move it around, get the angles i need, and then mediate for real 😂 If I did it when I was actually mediating I’d lose track of time.
Also question, what is the difference between beauty so clean makeup disinfectant vs just spraying 70% alcohol on makeup? Is there a difference/which is better? :)
Great question! The Beauty So Clean spray is a cosmetic sanitizer mist so it's specifically designed to not dry out powders. Alcohol does dry out products faster, but not a significant enough amount more to justify the increase in price of the Beauty So Clean spray.
