I really hope this just becomes Jesse Fayden's theme song and Control 2 opens with a musical sequence to this song proper. Or her chapter in the Alan Wake 2 DLC.

I really thought it had been written for Control...slightly disappointed to find out that Darling's version is a cover of this, but of course Darling is also the kind of kooky loon whose taste is stalled in the seventies, and who records his own weird Mud cover songs in his lab in private....it makes perfect sense. Also, his version's better...
@Frank Filthyfinger That is subjective. I also think Darling's version is better. Probably because I listened to it first or because the audio is crisper. Don't be so salty.
@@FeroxX_Gosu I didn't think it was written by the devs. I assumed it was by the same band whose songs feature throughout the game, on the radios and in the Ashtray Maze. Their stuff is pretty varied.

I like Casper's inflection on the chorus better, in particular the way he says dynamite, how he holds the "dy" as opposed Mud who's "dy" dips in pitch. Idk, just personal preference.
Always such a fun to come back to those videos that embraced our childhood. This was for me a real shock when first seeing them on Belgian TV. My mom was even more shocked. This is crazy music, she said. Oh she was so right and I still love his crazy music almost 50 years later.

It was originally called "Moonlight In Baskerville" and it's available on RU-vid with Mike Chapman singing and playing it. Actually a pretty good song in it's own right.

One of my favourite bands of the seventies, and this song happens to be my most favourite single of theirs and I think they all look great all dressed in red there ,I like it, nice one 👍
The dance move with the elbows out and thumbs in the belt loops was known as 'the angel'. Much beloved of Quo fans too. The trick was to move in opposite direction to the person facing you, otherwise a nutting would ensue.

The highly charged 'Dynamite' has a delicious churning intro and an explosive chorus, allied to the staples of Glam Rock: a stomping beat and some great guitar work. "Dynamite" gives "Tiger Feet" a run for its money as the band's best.
Music is great, band too...but boy I'm not gonna lie. Control made a fairly superior version with the Casper Darling clip. Less weird camera angles I guess.
It was on the very first cassette tape of my brother,. with songs he had taped off the radio and from some friends' singles (a few other tracks on the same tape were "In the Ghetto" with Elvis, "Roll Over Beethoven" by ELO and Dutch Glam pop hit "Hang On!" with a band called Heart, ft singer Patricia Payy). Ah those were the days... ;)
Love the song and heard it thanks to Doom Patrol. They do need more glam; some more glitter would be nice. You can tell almost instantly that it’s produced by Chapman and Chinn who also produced songs for Sweet. Songs by Chapman and Chinn were always so catchy.
