I was 17 in 1975 and riding a RD 200 .......Great Music and Great Bikes.....Where did my life go....now I’m 61and going back to the 70s on you tube.....like a lot of us out there..👍🇬🇧🤓
RD 200 electric start, we’ve all been robbed of our youth mate ....I was born 1959 great music great times, if only we could go back just for 1 night ......what a party that would be.
And so say all of us ( who can remember the 70s) ?What ever the world chuck at us 🤗 WE ,That were born in the 60s,70s WE'LL never forget are teens year's 🤣🤣👍
I hated glam for decades😂 untill one day ....☝️fox on the run.... i repeated the shit out if it for days and n than..... yess i love Sweet, Mud and almost all others glam bands ❤
Oh my god, whe where so young, whole live will come. Now I'm 65, time is not so easy. Thank you Mud, Glitter, T.Rex, Suzi Quatro and all the others for these wonderful years
Great band that never took it seriously, they had fun and gave us tunes you could understand,in english. Simpler times were the best. Les was so down to earth,a great talent
the awesome voice of Les Gray, thankfully preserved for future generations to savour and for us oldies to look back at a time more innocent and realise that todays music has lost the art of lyrics that appeal to the heart and remind of loves now lost to time
I was 16 when this came out. Loved mud and loved this song my favourite. Kids still get me to still sing it and play the guitar. 63 now. Rest in peace les.
@@pietkonijn5522 hmmm a little bit then. There are many singers who have a bit of the Elvis vibe, but for me there is currently one that comes very close to it, and that is our own Dutch Bouke 😁
I was 13 years old had a blue glitter drum kit and yes I thought I was the drummer in every glam group in England and hearing my mum and dad shout shut that racket up great days lol
Great music from a great band from a great era. I've listened to so much music over the decades, but only a very few select tracks stay with me because they're timeless, this is one of them. RIP guys and thanks for being a fun part of my youth.
If I had back now, all the coins I put in the juke box playing this, I could afford a villa in the South of France! One of the greatest 'Glam Rock' bands. Thanks for posting...
If ever you feel blue, or creak 'cos you're too old, If ever news is black, and winter weather cold, Betake yourself to you-tube, and call up tunes by Mud, And dance around your living-room, it'll do you bloody well good!
Mud just means the 70s ,all good times growing up and hearing all these tunes all the time, what a great childhood I had growing up in the 70s,before mobile phones or computers .,.we actually went out and played,.,..
I remember listening to this British band when I was a little girl! I would have given anything to have been born a decade earlier. The music was great then, and STILL IS today! True blue musicians!XXXX RIP Les and Dave You guys gave little girls like me a thrill just listening to your voices! Cheers Karen
The Supreme And Unmistakable Voice Of Mr Les Gray And The Guys From This Amazing Group. Thank You For This And Many More Majestic Classic Memories From An Awesome Legacy. Thanks And God Bless Mr Gray.

❤jag köpte eran första LP vinyl 1975,sen lyssnar jag minst 1 gång om dagen nu är jag 60 o lyssnar fortfarande varje dag på just secrets Watson you keep
Such a great record (mind you Mud never made a bad record). It can't be 40 years old, no way, I refuse to believe it :-) I was 8 years old when this came out, and in my head I still am when I hear these songs.
i was just a young lad when these came out, just start high school, it got me noticed when i could sing all their songs by heart cos MUD sang songs you sang to the girls and it worked for me as the girl in the 3rd year1977 went on to be me missus for 22 years
I remember going to the Mud christmas concert in Cardiff, it was just after the tragedy when a fan died at a David Cassidy concert. Les Gray stopped the concert and told us that they wouldn't continue unless we stayed in our seats. Amazing XXX
Mud was the very first band I saw Live.....ABC cinema in 1974....I was 13, dressed to the nines in loons and tank top, thought I was the bees knees ! However my love for them has never wavered in the last 40 years or so, cripes THAT long ago ?? Thanks for posting, the VERY best memories for me xxxx
When i watch these band's like mud the sweet my two favourite group's from the 70s. I feel so sad. And think Where have all the years gone The lead singers and both drummers have died in these two brilliant group's. All died far too young
Can someone help me build a time machine ,the 70s were an awesome time to be a teenager, long hair colourful clothes and full of testosterone, happy days
Ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh, ooh ooh The secrets that you keep I've only got myself to blame I played a losing game I lie awake and call your name All I own is just a picture in a broken frame It seemed so hard for me to share It's even harder now that you're not there (Now baby) I'm losing sleep over the secrets that you keep (Oh baby) I'm losing sleep over the secrets that you keep I lie awake at night not knowing where you are You know it don't seem right That you could be so far away from me Oh oh, the secrets that you keep Since you've been gone our worlds have grown apart Now I don't know what's in your head or in your heart Those little things you kept so secretly They don't mean much to you but they mean so much to me
Great band ,this was my favourite Mud single although there was many too choose from, 70s an era when you didn't care how silly you looked at the disco ,you had fun and hopefully got a date at the end of the night, long live the 70s
Totally agree, so sad that so many have gone. But like you, I was lucky enough to see them.......in a field near Winchester along with Alvin stardust and Love Affair :-)
The Secrets That You Keep must be one of the best pop records ever ( along with Brown Sugar and Get It On) from the magical 70s. It has a special meaning for me and place in my heart. My gorgeous girlfriend at that time sometimes mentioned a previous boyfriend which made me feel jealous and wonder about the secrets that she kept! I think the record was a B side, which I thought was strange, as it was an A in my opinion. The record is still a part of my life, as it's great for dancing to salsa and modern jive/ceroc which I practice (although sadly partner dancing is on hold because of the Covid-19 crisis).
It was great listening to them, back in those days, and still is. I kind a miss this music. I wonder if tis could been a hit today, or have the time run away for such joyful group?
I was 19 when mud came to the Empire Leicester Squire in the west end, where I was working, Les loved a drink and looking after him got me pissed with him.. lost the job but got a great memory 8hrs with a great man......
