Good honest review there, the bike looks nice with its white Frame black wheels combo, shame you can't remove battery for charging or replacing, but then it would be more expensive, its only allowed to go to 15.5 assisted speed anyway in uk,ive got the switch kit on a universal bike which I believe is the same make it gives similar mileage between charges.thanks again recommended .
Hi, ive just purchased one of these bike unfortunately it was missing the charger.. would you be able/willing to tell me the power rating and input/output voltages of the provided charger so I could source a suitable replacement. Thanks in advance luke
It's currently £550 instead of £1100 right now for the white model muddy fox. Test rided it and seems quite nice. Compared it to ones like "cube" and it's not the best of course but for the money it's very worth it I'd say
What about battery during winter time? Normally it is recommended to remove battery from e-bike and keep it indoor during winter time because of low temperature and prevent damage of potentially the capacity of the battery. This e- bike has builded battery in frame...🤔and I can storage it only in my garden.
If you know what your doing you could remove the battery via the access at the bottom of the frame near crank. It's not designed to be removed as a daily thing but if you're storing bike for a long time then sure. Obviously charge or discharge your batteries to 50% for storage.
It was Evans cycles customer service. I was shocked as well. They wanted me to either return the bike or take the whole bike to the shop. I offered to return the pedals for them to inspect but no. It was just easier in the end to buy a new set.
@@vehicle53 That's pretty poor from them, its just common sense to replace the pedals, I would probably have done the same as you and bought a new pair, shouldn't have had to do that though, at least the bike is decent
I would say it's rain proof but wouldn't submerge it in water. The battery is housed in the frame so it's protected from rain etc. I will do a more in depth review very soon.
Just loosen hub nuts. Loosen chain tensioner. Unplug motor, plug is near the front crank. Then remove wheel and do puncture repair as you would on a normal bike inner tube. 👍
Hi, am struggling to fix a puncture and take back wheel off. When you say loosen chain tensioner, do you mean take a link out of the chain and take it off that way? Cheers
I don't have a cube but all retail ebikes have to be limited to 15mph by law. At 15 mph the motor stops assisting and you have to use your own power to go faster.
It's not an apples to apples comparison. It depends on what you need or want. If you need a foldable bike that's easy to transport and store then windgoo would be the choice as the electric avenue doesn't fold. Apart from having the motor it's a standard single gear hybrid bike.
Depending on the control unit fitted and display fitted. I know you would definitely need a different display that would allow you to access the control unit. It depends if the control unit fitted has such display available as a plug in option.
