Creating this isn't easy because form and flavor are hard to combine But sure, it's pretentious. A normal human being wouldn't pretend to enjoy foods looking like a handkerchief, or served on top of creepy face. This is creatively depraved, done because we exhausted all the best way of food presentation, so much so that they need to resort to bizarre and weird things just to be unique. I appreciate the skill and hard work to create these foods, but I despise the very concept of it. Bizarre looking food, to please the pretentious bourgeoisie desperate to look unique and sophisticated. They really are not. In fact, enjoying these pretentious food looking like inedible objects would make you look absolutely ridiculous when compared to some random person enjoying a good pizza, or a cheese burger. An act so detached from the essence of what eating is supposed to be.

The perversion of the act of eating gave birth to this distorted desire to be uncessarily eccentric while consuming the food. More meaningful artistic exprenssion could be made, one that would last for centuries, and yet these bourgeoisie chose to waste it for things that'd disappear instantly upon consumption, far separated from the very essence and meaning of consuming food itself. A more proper comparison would be the way of modern art. Modern art is so detached from the true meaning of art itself, they store years of urine into a glass box and call it art, as if they try to achieve the exact opposite reaction to traditional art.

and for a tenth of the price, i could literally buy an extra large extra pepperoni pizza from my local pizza place - it tastes better - you get far more calories - its served in a decorated cardboard box, and not something like the brass trumpet piece one of those dishes looked like it was on - me and the boys could chow down while playing games - it actually looks presentable in an edible stance and not in an abstract art sense - you dont need to be thrown off with random food combinations to enjoy it - you dont need to find a "meaning" to what you are eating, because its literally pizza - you wont get laughed at by charlie and the rest of us that came here because of his video
